I couldn't help noticing the expression on his face as he sat on the bench near the end of the game. He looked like a man that was just beat-up, sore, and frustrated. He and Kittle both attack the ball and the opponent with the same ferocity. Unfortunately, both are getting hurt in part because the ball is not coming to them the way it should. Neither can survive 17 games having to play like this.

It's their style of play. Both kittle and deebo get hurt and play hurt. I love both guys but worry neither is destined for a long career as injuries continue to pile up for both.

I think Deebo has actually changed his approach quite a bit this year. I've noticed him going out of bounds a lot more than he has in the past and avoiding unnecessary contact.
I think what we saw in Deebo's body language was a man who was sick and tired of losing. Pay attention to how he reacted to the TD that he caught from Trey. Deebo wants to win--badly.

His rookie season was the SB loss. That type of rookie season sets expectations for the future and when it doesn't go well it can be very frustrating. Bumps and bruises hurt more when it's accompanied with an L.

Could've said the same about Frank Gore, let's hope at least one of them can overcome the injury bug

Agreed. On his late TD yesterday, he just willed it into the end zone & wasn't going to be denied. This is the kind of fiery, competitive kind of WR this team needs and could use more of. Aiyuk, with all his potential, let's see the competitor in him more - especially now when the team (and maybe a new young QB) really needs him to step up.

Those expectations are certainly impacting the fans this season.

1. Deebo Samuel, 49ers: 490
2. Tyreek Hill, Chiefs: 453
3. Cooper Kupp, Rams: 431
Finally a dominating wr since T.O. Please stay healthy
I love that I got him in my fantasy leagues in the 90s. Some people are so damn stupid on player evaluations. Especially players that are coming off of injuries
