I mean I'm the biggest Deebo homer on the webzone, but his time as a 49er was over. It was mutually beneficial for both sides to part because Deebo wasn't going to be Deebo in a 49ers' uniform anymore. People thought he was washed, but he obviously was making business decisions with his body with his future in mind. Moreover, by moving on Deebo, Shanny could stop worrying about manufacturing touches for Deebo and truly open up the passing game for his franchise QB by featuring Kittle, Pearsall, Aiyuk, etc.
It was a win-win for both sides. I'm still going to be rooting hard for my boy Deebo in WAS.

But that SAF doesn't mean shipping him out was the wrong thing for the 49ers to do. Probably should have been shipped out a year earlier.
