I've never been more disgusted with a former player as I am with Deebo. He likes winners he said. When he was one of the biggest reasons why we had a bad year.

He says he will be "motivated" with Washington. Why wasn't he motivated with us? 20 million dollars isn't enough? Is he only putting out full effort in a contract year so he gets paid? How many years did he come into camp fat and out of shape? Then this useless diva had the balls to blame his pathetic play on not getting the ball?

But that being said, I put the blame on Shanahan. His refusal to bench Deebo when he was a drain on this offense is beyond rediculous. Shanahan's refusal to sit ineffective players is one of his biggest faults.

I have never wished another player to fail more than I do with Deebo. Good riddance.

Deebo was motivated with us. He's commonly the person everyone points to as the tone-setter for the team the past three years. Are you aware he was hospitalized for pneumonia during the season? Do you understand the effect pneumonia has on the body? It's not like a stinger you try to play through. Pneumonia impacts your entire respiratory system. It impacts your stamina. He went right back to the team immediately after to try to help the team in a big game. Trying to play through it extended the recovery time.

Before being hospitalized, Deebo was 5th in yards per reception (16.8) and 8th in yards per target (10.5) with 0 drops. After being hospitalized, he dropped to 83rd in yards per reception (10.8) and 96th in yards per target (6.8) dropping 6 passes (12.2%, 3rd worst). When he did get the ball, he was still able to get YAC (8.3 YAC/R, 5th) and his broken tackle rate was 2nd to Rashee Rice, who had 29 targets on the season. He also did his part in trying to bail out our terrible special teams. 3rd in kick return average with 31.35 yards per return (min 15 returns).

When Deebo was on the field, him and Kittle bore the brunt of the extra attention of losing Aiyuk. Teams were willing to let the 49ers have Jennings get the ball as he wasn't the threat Deebo and Kittle were.

Deebo looks fat and slow at Wash camp

I think it was Bill Parcells that said "It's like winning the lottery. What do you do when you win the lottery? You quit your job" Deebo might fall under that category. He never was an elite wr but he was a playmaker when in shape

He's always had odd body proportions. Like Boldin. The question is will he learn to protect his body like Boldin did ... he managed to play more games after his 6th season than before, and that's where Deebo is.

That's a very generous take. I'm not wanting Debo to fail, I think he tried his best with us, had early success but recently the league figured it's best to use sticky man coverage on him.
Straight to the point he looks overweight and out of shape. He was like this after he signed his big extension with us and commander fans can't be happy about it, but he's shown he can lose the weight and get back into shape. So let's see if he steps up his training and diet before the season opener.
I know a few Commanders fans and they said compared to other WR's in practice, Deebo looks big and slow.

Worder what Commander fans thought about the trade initially? Did they think they got a steal? Most 9er fans saw the writing on the wall but even I didn't expect deebo to show up looking that out of shape. Can he even cut a route?
slime szn

He finally has an OC that knows how to use him.

You mean the side of our fanbase that are delusional, spiteful, and give off bitter ex-girlfriend vibes?

Deebo will look like Deebo.. he will make plays... he will motivate his teammates with his game breaking plays (if the team is struggling). He will make Anquan Bolding like catches. He is fine.. the Commanders knew what they were doing. They were trying to develop their own version of Deebo, just like the Bills tried, but it turns out you need the real thing.

Looks like the same play we ran for him.
