Deebo couldn't handle being the 4th option behind BA, Ricky, JJ, CMC next year and frankly 49ers didn't want another sulky petulant child in the locker room next year.

Can't stand the guy celebrating his best game when the team lost in contrast to JJ's attitude of the same situation when JJ had the 3 TD game.

Some idiot talking heads are trying to make it sound like Deebo still isn't that old because he's 28, OK first of all he's 29 and he's a damn old 29 for football. He has more of the body of a 34 or 35-year-old in football terms. Washington is banking on getting just one season out of him that's some of what 2021 was in the next couple years and there's no guarantee of that.

There's not many guarantees in football. We'll see what happens.

It is guaranteed that Trent, Kittle, CMC, Mitchell, (and previously 49er player Deebo) will miss games every season, usually a minimum of 2-6 every year.
This trde gives the Niners 12 picks now. They should try and trade their 2nd and one of their 3rd rounders to get another 1st rounder. Then trade another 3rd and a 4th to move back into the 2nd round. Then trade another 4th and the 5th to get anther 3rd rounder. With 4 picks in the top 100 and a total of 8 in the top 150 it gives them a lot of flexibility.

Not saying any of that will happen but it's possible if they can find teams willing to trade with them. They don't need 12 picks so if they made thise moves they would still have 9 picks.
5th round golden ticket for Deebo? I'll take it.

If they take a receiver at #11 and miss out on a top D or O lineman I can already hear the complaining about how they ignore the line. Even the best receivers only get about 8 targets on average per game. A good D lineman can have a far greater impact. If CMC comes back healthy as is expected and Pearsall can play like he did the last 3 games of the season they can wait until round 2 or 3 for another receiver.

Niners suck at making 1st round picks. Trade back for more 5th rounders.

Aiyuk was a good pick, Pearsall looks promising. McGlinchey was pretty solid for the 9ers.

I'm being sarcastic. That said, McGlinchey should be considered a bust. If you pick an OT, hell any OL truthfully, inside the top 10, they should be an anchor on the line for the next decade to decade & a half. Not someone who doesn't receive a second contract from the team that drafted them. Case in point, there wasn't a drop off from McGlinchey to McKivitz.
