He's a very intriguing prospect...has great footwork and is a good route-runner. Is a YAC machine with some good hands. He dealt with poor QB play and some injuries.

Yeah you could see separation and good movement during the Senior Bowl week as well.

Deebo Samuel (5-11, 215) is probably near the top of Kyle Shanahan's receiver short list. An ideal blend of power, speed, hands and route-running ability. The red zone separation he creates here reminds me of Dante Pettis. #49ers

Deebo Samuel has a lot of similar characteristics to Pierre Garçon in his prime. Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch had an entire week with him at the Senior Bowl. Samuel seems like a logical target for the #49ers at pick No. 36.

The thing that gets me about Deebo is that he's so darn good as a running back too.

What a weapon for Kyle.

Edit: I think Deebo is what Kyle envisioned for Hurd - in a sense.

I'm pretty confident they can get something for Jimmy. Jimmy just has to be able to pass his physical and also show that his arm is 100%. I don't foresee Jimmy being on the roster come the start of the regular season.

I'm still hopeful we'll get a 4th for Jimmy, but I'm not holding my breath either. Get rid off Jimmy and extend Deebo, that's what I'm hoping for.

One person mentioned that a player with a contract with a card company could restrict him from signing autographs. Someone else mentioned that players on rookie contracts are restricted to signing autographs at NFL sanctioned events only. I couldn't find anything with a quick search. Does anyone know if any of those scenarios could be true?
