SEA has a bunch of day 3 picks they can use to leapfrog the 49ers at 36, to select this guy. They are slotted to pick 37 right now. Just throwing it out there. Assuming the 49ers are even considering Risner.

They need those picks, you see their first rounder?

Risner is not really their type of OL. They like freak, high upside athletes that they can coach up.
I love lots of the options available but if he's there at 36 please make him the pick. Fits to well.

This. WR is deep enough that there will still be numerous options in Rounds 3 and 4. OL kind of falls off a cliff here soon.

Give me Risner, Blair, Isabella and KeeSean Johnson and I don't care about the rest.
If the Cards are smart, they will take him 1st tonight on Day 2.

He's been a first round guy since the very beginning of the season. Don't see much of a chance of him making it to the 2nd, he's a legit NFL caliber starting right tackle prospect. I think he goes anywhere from 12 to 28.

This is what I posted back in December. If the 49ers could get him at #36, that would be an excellent move, a Patriots like steal on the OL. He has played every spot on the OL and could step in at guard immediately.

Just saw a segment on him on NFLN. He's a phenomenal person.

Saw the same. What a class act

Sounds like they are going Murphy and from experience doesn't sound like they know how to keep a secret
I think I'll take this pick over our need at WR and safety. Depth/possible starter at guard this year, and start grooming this pup to be our future tackle.

Is that a SEA philosophy or a Tom Cable philosophy? Cable on OAK right now.

I think he'd start Week 1 at right guard. I don't see Person playing over him. The run blocking would get even better and the pass blocking would improve with him inside as well.

According to Seattle writers it is a bit of both. Cable was brought in to help develop the various projects that were drafted.

Which is great because Richburg may not even be available until July so we need Person taking C snaps.

Didn't we just give Person a new contract? Just saying, I wouldn't mind taking this kid, but I think we have more urgent needs at WR and CB.
