Nothing could stop the 88 49ers.

Before they went after more studs, they were a top defense - that we beat I might add last season. They turned a corner when they added more this year - like we did when we added Whitner, Rogers, and drafted Aldon. We went from good to great.

Yup that's true...they were hitting on all cylinders with that D last night.

So they won the division, huh? Good for them. It's fun to go back and read the initial comments.

Mack maybe but I'd still rather keep out 1st round picks.

Robinson is average. He is averaging 57 YPC which translates to 955 yards over 16. That is not worth 10 mil a year.

I miss SteveYoung!

Didn't stop Kap either.
Well, I haven't heard anything about Trubisky. Just a horrible qb like I said. Glad the bears have him we don't have to worry about the bears as long as he's qb. Just wondering what all the supporters are saying now because a lot of people were arguing that he is a solid or good quarterback.

With Jimmy Garoppolo we are a better team than the Bears in my opinion. Even if we have holes we can still beat them as we already saw with mullens

He's incredibly streaky to me. Capable of throwing for 300+ but overall, he looks like a young QB. Like Lamar Jackson. There's a reason Nagy has him at 25th in passing attempts. Not much reason to pass a ton with a defense like that and a good running game and TE/RB's who can catch. You can see flashes but the playoffs highlight weaknesses. Seattle, Ravens, Bears.
Still, they did better than I projected.

Year 2 of the rebuild:
Projected record: 10-6 / Playoffs / 2nd Place Division
Playoff prediction: 1 playoff win

Yeah I understand with Lamar Jackson but Trubisky is just not accurate. You can't really fix that imo.
Maybe they should try rebuilding with a better kicker. Like the guy they cut.

And yet in the record books they'll go down as having won an equal number of playoff games.
