I don't. Dallas didn't move on, they said they can only spend $10 mil. If a deal is done anyone would whisper.

But here is page 49!!

Without Dallas restructuring some contracts, it's hard to see them selling out for ET. To give him what he wants would leave something like 3 million in cap space whether they guaranteed the money or tried to make it a signing bonus. They still have a ton of needs that would be hard to rely on a rookie class for... they either pin all their hopes this season on ET or they pass and get 3-4 vets that can fill voids/be insurance policies.

But it is Jerry Jones so who knows...

It does raise a bit of a red flag that other teams that needed a safety passed on signing ETIII.

The players that have signed are younger and presumably "healthier."

My guess, is that he has a limited market that's why he remains unsigned. Either that or he's asking for way too much.

I wonder if it's more the stunt he pulled going to the Dallas locker room. Teams don't like disloyalty. I can see that being a cause for concern for someone like Lynch. Still, it's not like he quit on his team like Brown. Nor is he a diva.
I just dont see it with them letting reid walk a couple years ago... Just seems like they dont value the safety position that much.
It's been super quiet for ET. Not just for us, but in general. Very curious.

Maybe teams want to check that leg when FA opens and they can have him for a visit.
Really surprised there is no talks about getting Adrian Amos from the Bears.

What does Reid have to do with anything? He wasn't a free safety and they offered him the same amount of money that he ended up accepting from Carolina a lot later on.

Probably because he signed with the Packers.

i think we are the only ones with the ability to take that injury risk. Colbert flashed his rookie year and had a sophmore slump but i think he can still be good. If we sign ET, we have an immediate starter behind him who will have ET coaching him the whole time.

lol hes still the best FS in football and still in his prime. If his market is limited it's because of his price.
