Super early, so this is merely a placeholder for the offseason. There's a good chance the asinine Raiders will trade Amari Cooper in the offseason with Gruden conceding that they are indeed rebuilding the team. Amari Cooper checks all the boxes for what Kyle covets in a WR: fast, quick, great route runner, great hands, easily beats man coverage, high character, hard worker, etc. Amari could be a hell of a replacement for Pierre. He'll turn 25 years old next year, so he'll still very young.

That is the kind of deal that might bring him here. Gruden wants picks to rebuild the team. He won't get a 1st from anyone right now. Cooper isn't Mack.

4th if he goes over 500 yards receiving

5th if he makes the roster

I still think he is a player. Looking back at the OCs in Oaktown since he came our of college, it has been a train wreck. The kid is a very high character guy that wants to win but he is also a bright kid that can see it isn't going to happen there.

Change of scenery and a real OC would do wonders for him and give the 49ers the big go-to guy we need.

Get a deal on the table and start talking.

I could see Arizona making a move for Cooper. They need help at WR, and Fitz could retire after this season.

I'd trade a 2019 4th for him.

I'm not quite that "homeristic" but I agree a #1/#2 would go a long way toward a settled offense.

I'm sure there will be better offers than a 4th for Cooper. Teams will look at his potential and the first year when he was performing very well and bet on him being able to return to something close to that.

being set? Have you seen our depth at TE? If Kittle were to get hurt we would be in trouble.

being set? Have you seen our depth at TE? If Kittle were to get hurt we would be in trouble.

Who is the #2 TE in KC...how about Philly? Personally Celek is good enough as a backup. Our issue is more centered around our WR's who can't get any kind of separation outside of scheme.

i think Goodwin + a #1 would work wonders. If we get cooper, we just got to a OG to shore up the middle of the line and we are good to go.

But is Cooper dominate enough? IDK...seems like a top tier WR2
