Taylor and pettis are the only receivers who've shown they can beat nfl man coverage. Hopefully Shanahan gets over himself this week.

It was more than a couple games. But of course They need to show they can can continue to do it consistently. In Dante's case he can't do that from the bench. The receiver play versus the bucs was terrible, especially marquise. Deebo wasn't all that better.

so having 1 fumble equals being trash now? Good to know

It's going to be a cat fight. But I
predict a breakout game for Pettis coming up against the Bengals.

When you add it to only having 3 catches for 17 yards on 60 snaps and struggling to get separation all day, then yea it does.

Pettis to Shanahan:
"Now the year is new, I lay my game flat, I want my spot back, take two!"

I do wonder what this whole deal is. Because if Sunday was what we can expect this season moving forward than the outlook is a bit grim. Although Kyle said pettis should be getting more snaps.
So let's hope for better production from the receiving core no matter who it is. For the team's sakes, and Jimmy's sake. Taylor when healthy should be a boost, but the health part will be a question.

Yeah most people on the zone, have just made homophobic jokes about him, said he was trash since he was drafted(even when he produced), Or obsessed about the fact that he has cats.

Agree. Proof is in the pudding, watch the tape, Deebo was locked up all day and looked like trash.

Disagree. Marquise was better than Deebo against the Bucs, JG just couldn't throw an accurate pass or didn't even look his way. Not saying he was great, but definitely better than Deebo. I want Hurd back cause frankly none of these guys inspire confidence from me after game 1, and yes I know It's just game 1, DGAF

If you want to play in the NFL as a WR then you need to catch those passes sometimes. Not every pass can be perfect. JImmy needs to make better passes but if they hit your hands and you want to be considered a legit WR then you catch that sh*t. Simple as that.
