So wait a second

Grant Cohn says his "weakness" is press coverage outside the numbers and all of a sudden we are saying this f**king matters one bit
Strengths: "Beating press inside"
Weakness: "Beating press outside"
I made it through 2 plays of his breakdown. Of course it's 2 catches made outside the numbers. It literally means nothing where he started. Kinda seems like good play design. There is nothing mystical about the f**king numbers. If you can beat press inside you can beat it outside.
What silly ass Grant doesn't seem to grasp is lining up out side the numbers inheritly limits what you can do. Moreover, a lot of the time the outer most guy isn't even a part of the the progression. Want an example? Here you go....check about 20:50 of his "breakdown" where he's talking about the play that happened at 5:59. Look at the entire play and the concept envolved. Here are several examples of it from his father playbooks (1994 and 2004):
Please take note that the SE in this case is running a clearing route and is not a part of the progression (ie he's not assigned a number). The corner "didn't take the inside" away.....the X's job was to clear that corner out so the Corner/out by the slot would open if the QB takes it or also is out of there when drive concept develops.
Basically, Grant Cohn is in no positions to assign strengths or weaknesses of anyone. He does not own the X's and O's knowledge to be drumming up these b******t narratives. LMAO at him calling things "bad reps" and "quit on the player because he knows he can't get open". No silly f**k, it's not Dante's fault you don't understand how concepts work and what guys outside the progression are doing.
Damn it's just disheartening that his garbage takes roots in this forum.
