Not quite the same. AA had 2
3 full seasons of showing nothing. Even in McGlinchey's worst season, he was still a top tier run blocker. If it came down to the two of them, I'd bet on McGlinchey being an average pass protector and elite run blocker before I'd be on AA being an elite run defender (which he is good at) and average pass rusher. AA living up to that standard would make our Dline far more dangerous but I just wouldn't count on it.
Pretty similar bro. To me Mcglinchey problem is worse b/c we need him to protect our QB. We can't afford to pay this guy big bucks and then he reverts back to being below average just like AA did
