This talk about Pats taking a step back and Brady losing a huge weapon because of Gronk retiring....
Cmon now.
Brady is the GOAT. It doesn't matter who you put on that field. Gronk happened to be an exceptional talent, but to say Brady is going to struggle now is laughable.
They'll take Fant and all will be forgotten.
The TE position in NE is like the RB position here, plug and play.

yup. Brady has been doing it his entire career with whoever they put on the field. All of his WRs would be mediocre on any other team.

He's also 42. The drop off in quality is coming and may be overnight like we saw with Manning, Favre.

We will see. Favre was basicially wrapped in a cast head to toe in his final years. Manning had that bad neck injury which also screwed up his arm strength.
The way qbs are being babied now and if Brady stays healthy, i dont see a drop off until he retires.

I'm gonna miss watching him play. The best TE ever and it's really not that close.

Does Tony Gonzalez ring a bell? And he played with a lot worse of a quarterback or quarterbacks
It will be a moot point in 10 years because Kittle will be the best te ever
my boy since day 1

Unreal we got the future goat TE in the 5th round. Lynch is turrible.

I know right. Broke the all time record with scrubs throwing to him (besides jimmy and I think mullens is a solid backup but come on did Gronk or kelce have backups throwing to them for 13 games).
Also being bracketed or doubled bc no other weapons. f**king unreal. We are also dismissing the fact that he had at least three more touchdowns of 60+ yards if the ball was accurately place. You could say that for every tight end however not with Brady or Mahomes throwing.
