To be fair, Freeman had 1500 total yards (rush and receiving) in 2015 and 2016.

I have to admit, this signing will require visual proof before I'm convinced this was a good signing (not that I'm saying that it was a bad signing). I trust Shanny and Lynch, and I'm not even saying that I question this signing or that I'm against it. Just saying this one will take some on-the-field proof before I can buy in to it.

I think that's what it kinda boils down to. I never would have thought Goodwin could do more than be a downfield threat before last year and was proved wrong. If everything clicks this offense could be very crafty with jet.

This is essentially a two year deal. We front load the contract so that we only have to pay him 3.7M next year when we have to resign our own FAs and give Kyle and Bobby two more drafts to find a replacement. If Jet turns into a Christian Mccaffrey type player, than he will be a bargain for 6.5M a year for the last two years. If not, we cut him or ask him to restructure.
