So crazy how hes been such a let down. Fast, big ass wr, solid route runner, huge hands, Jerry Rice's blood in his veins. Everything you could ask for in a receiver.
Was solid as a wr2 but once he had to step up to he wr1 he started getting shut down.
I wouldn't give up on him yet if it were a team friendly deal

Well s**t I didn't even notice he was a Free Agent. Bring his ass over here!!!!
Dude can break a tackle and take slant to the house. I think he would be PERFECT for the system.
I hope the Raiders get Jordy, so we get Matthews. Supposedly they are interested in Matthews. :/

Was apparently hurt last year and the severity of it was being hidden by the doctors in Philly...

I think he'd be a great but low. Not for big money, obviously... but a deal like Goodwin's last year maybe.
He's only 25, but been a starter from 2014 through 2016. In each of those 3 seasons he had between 800 and 1000 yards. Sure, that's not setting the world on fire... but that seems like plenty to be optimistic about. 2017 was a bad year, but he was hurt and never fit in with the Bills.
At this point he seems like best FA option out there at WR. And he's young enough that if he worked out he could take over from Garçon in a year or two.

Not a bad choice either....
Definitely prefer both to Pryor.

I am starting to come around on this idea. Matthews might be a really cheap pick up and he's pretty good. Problem is he's injured quite a bit whether he's playing or not. If we could get him for under 5 million that would be a good pick up

They must know something if they haven't brought him in.

Still surprised the Niners have shown little interest in this guy.
