He isn't the best QB, watching Brady he's better. Montana was better, Manning was better (the great Manning not the good one you mention), Steve Young was better. He's still young. Can you even say Mahomes is better than Josh Allen or Herbert or Burrow? I see one of those QBs has Andy Reid, the others don't. Give Burrow Reid, see what happens.

Did you really just question whether or not Mahomes is better than Josh Allen, Herbert or Burrow? I guess I shouldnt be surprised after seeing you say John Stockton is better than Lebron James.

Are you still drunk from last night?

NFL.com ranked all QBs entering the season.. Mahomes was 5th.. why wasn't he an autolock at number 1?

You're getting some recency bias from last night, and most folks are, reality is only so good you can play the game and the elite MVP caliber QBs all play at a very high level.

Mahomes is great but I think it's a legit debate who you would want to build your team around going forward if you had an expansion team or fantasy draft. Other guys can play too.

I couldnt care less what one writer from NFL.com said about the QBs entering the season. Reporters have been trying to convince people for the last couple of seasons that Mahomes isnt the best....but Mahomes just keeps proving them wrong. He is a 2x MVP. He is a 2x SB MVP. He is a 3 time All Pro. The three players you are questioning if Mahomes is better than dont have that resume combined.

This has nothing to do with recency bias. He is the best QB in the NFL, and has been regardless of what your unnamed nfl.com writer says.

As far as your "its a legit debate who you want to build your team around moving forward" comment, this is classic Faithful. Moving the goalposts like always. YOU were the one who asked if you can even say Mahomes is better than those guys. Now you are talking about a make believe expansion draft where all players are available. SMH

That's not moving the goalposts.. that's the whole convo. Mahomes is about as good as it gets however I suspect without Reid he wouldn't be quite as good and with Reid, Josh Allen and/or Herbert would be winning the chips, if they had the HOF coach.

Also difference between resume and play. Rodgers plays the game as well as you can play it for his career, yet not nearly the resume of Brady, cuz yes it's a team game and Bill B built better teams than Mike McC, we all know this.

He's also not going to finish like Brady. With his style of play I doubt he lasts until 45. I still think win 7 and play in 10 is a big long way for him to reach. But we will see. I think it's doubtful but possible. It's not how you start. But how you finish and your longevity over time. Also the team may break up. Kelce is getting older. They will have free agent departures. Eventually Reid will get old and retire. It's not like this thing will continue for 20 years. Or even 15. Lets see what the long term future holds. He's excellent for now.
Dude wouldn't last in Montanas' heyday.

Merhomes was already tearing up heading into halftime clutching his heels. ''OWIEEE OWIEEE .''

No it's not. Who is the better QB and who someone would take in an imaginary draft aren't the same thing. People value different things that aren't always just about who is better, such as age.

And yes, resume and play aren't always the same. But you are going to have a hell of a time convincing anyone that your questioning Mahomes as #1 has anything to do with either. Mahomes is the current MVP, Champ and SB MVP. So this isn't about a past resume.

Under the old rules where you could hit I think he would get knocked out of the game. Maybe even season ending sometimes.
I like how people think that modern day QBs, like Pat, who's 6'4 230, would be more injury prone in the 80s going up LBs/DEs that most were smaller than him.

How do you people even rationalize these things 🤣

Playing in today's game.

With the old rules.

There were LB's bigger then too.

He's 6'3".
Mahomes is a legend already. He's just getting started too. Sucks for the AFC west the most lol raiders.

There were a lot of big linebackers and big DEs back then. Size isn't the issue anyway. It's the rules that have changed.

The rules changes are the biggest factor. All favor the QB. You can't hit the QB at all now.

The odds of Mahomes winning more super bowls than Brady when It's all said and done?

Either way, he's the best QB In the league right now.
