By your silly logic - Brady got his "butt whupped up and down the field" by Eli Manning. Not once - twice!

Championships argument is for casuals. Brady won a ring bc Pete Carroll decided to throw for a TD from 2 yard line than run the ball with beast mode - while Brady was on the sidelines. Winning rings in a team sport is a team achievement - even more so in NFL bc QB doesn't even play majority of the game. There is no one in the history of the league that has quarterbacked better than Mahomes IMO.

He is not GOAT yet bc he has only played 5 years...but once he crosses 10 years mark in the league and is still playing at a high level - he'd have the statistics and longevity to go along with wins to make a very strong case.

He isn't the best QB, watching Brady he's better. Montana was better, Manning was better (the great Manning not the good one you mention), Steve Young was better. He's still young. Can you even say Mahomes is better than Josh Allen or Herbert or Burrow? I see one of those QBs has Andy Reid, the others don't. Give Burrow Reid, see what happens.

Only so well you can play the position. Those guys are all playing it about as well as it can be played.

Andy Reid was unable to win a Superbowl for like 20 years until Mahomes and he's won two since.

It does. Brady is what happens when you pair a greatest of all time QB with a HOF Mt Rushmore Head Coach. However let's not overreact to the most recent game. Mahomes he is great no question but he's got many years to go to reach the Montana, Brady comp. Not there yet homie.

To me it's the pairing, when you pair a HOF coach and QB this is what happens, like with BB and TB12. To be honest, it's hard to say what Mahomes would even look like if he was drafted by say, the Jets. Who are not coached by Reid.

I owned Mahomes in my fantasy draft; appreciated him more than anyone in my league I suppose..

Ppl thought Allen, Herbert were gonna have bigger stat lines this year if you look at how fantasy drafts went.. I thought he is Mahomes and I've seen what he can do with Andy, pretty impressive stuff.

That makes one of you. Mahomes wasnt 1 on 1 with Brady. He was playing the Bucs defense....which was a better defense than Brady got to play.

Sorry, I didnt finish my post for some reason. The game isnt 1 on 1. Mahomes faced a better defense than Brady did. But Mahomes did have a poor game. That is indisputable.

NFL.com ranked all QBs entering the season.. Mahomes was 5th.. why wasn't he an autolock at number 1?

You're getting some recency bias from last night, and most folks are, reality is only so good you can play the game and the elite MVP caliber QBs all play at a very high level.

Mahomes is great but I think it's a legit debate who you would want to build your team around going forward if you had an expansion team or fantasy draft. Other guys can play too.

one more ring and he's already the GOAT. he might not get to 10 SB appearances and 7 wins, but it wont matter, he's better than Brady
