Now I hear some people calling Brady the greatest athlete of all time. Not the greatest QB but the greatest athlete. I'm not sure how they can make that claim. What's it based on? No way he's a better athlete than LeBron, Jordan, Mays, Mahomes, Gretsky, Wilt, Steph Curry, etc. etc etc.

And let's not forget he's had absolutely incredible weapons at his disposal

Yes, Tyreek and Kelce are incredible.

Kelce is a top 5 tight end, but hes not that good. He really benefits from how Reid schemes him, Hill taking the top off for him and Mahomes being magical.

I would take Kittle, Waller, Logan Thomas and maybe Gesicki over him.

I'd take Kittle over him but thats it. Waller is a maybe but probably not.

Point being, the Chiefs weapons as a whole are vastly overrated. It's Hill and Kelce.

I dont think that's true. All of their contributors are amongst the best at their positions in the game. What you're underrating is Reid and his staffs ability to scheme these guys open and Mahomes ability to get them the ball.

I think a lot of people are also underrating the defensive effort that TB put up. Bowles had the perfect game plan and Reid never adapted. TB was a hot team coming in after beating GB and Rogers and NO and Brees. Sometimes the team that's the hottest is better than the team that has better players. It happens a lot in sports. Don't forget that KC wasn't blowing people away for much of the 2nd half of the season.

All of this.. sometimes, s**t just happens. Football is the ultimate momentum sport, and when you commit 11 penalties in the first half, drop huge passes and abandon the run game all the little problems get exacerbated.

Again, I agree with you both. But none of this has to do with weapons.

I guess it´s surprisingly harder when the referees are doing their jobs.
Mahomes is a monster but it ´s difficult to forget some weird things that happened last year.

They are negative $17.9M right now, with 8 starters FA this year. Lots of restructuring to do with no obvious major cuts to be made. Going to be tough.

If you don't have a defense that can seal the deal and an offense that can keep up with the Chiefs then they will be a tough out for you.

The Buccaneers were able to seal the deal. The 49ers were not .

Are you still counting your buddy Sammy Watkins as one of the 8?

Kendrick Bourne > Sammy Watkins

Neh, he texted me and said, "he gone."

He is out of contract and I didn't count him.

Sorenson, Breeland, Robinson, Reiter, Kpassagnon, Remmers, Wylie, and Ward all played over 65% of the snaps this past season.

Refs did their job this year, not last year

I dunno. I think the Chiefs got kinda f**ked by the refs this year. But that totally balances out (from their POV) the fact that we got kinda f**ked by the refs last year.

I certainly cant get behind the idea that the game was called correctly this year. Tom got some ridiculously generous calls.

Refs made some questionable calls and if the game was close I'd say they have a point but they got destroyed. At no point did that offense look dynamic

Oh they got blown off the field. I am not implying that the refs were the reason they lost. I'm simply saying that there were definitely some bad calls that favored Brady and the Bucs. I was here for it. We got f**ked last year. I'm not upset at all about them getting hosed a bit.

I wish the game was close and they got screwed over in a pivotal point of the game just so justice would have been served

Bowels didn't lose all his depth at DL before the SB
