Dude is a beast. His arm talent is f**king ridiculous. I can't think of any QB currently I would take over him.

I think until he joins the list of QBs who have beaten Brady, we can reserve right to hold out a bit more on his greatness.

He'll live up to it. He only got it because he did things that could not be faked in his first 5 starts.....

BTW, don't think Jimmy got the RB production that Mullens and CJ got with Breida/Mostert/Wilson/etc......or with Hyde/Breida/Williams last year. It's safe to say that Breida/McKinnon in 2019 is gonna be the best he's ever had with the 49ers. In his 9th start for this team, he should have a lot more help in the backfield.

And Kittle in weeks 1-3 wasn't Kittle that broke the TE record. Quite frankly, it probably can be attributed to everyone just gelling as an offense.......

Goodwin, Pettis.....seemed to need young Jimmy to max their potential. Kittle, Breida were our only two ballers that weren't QB dependent..........I didn't watch all of the games -- did Juice dominate with CJ/Nick or just with Jimmy?

Man, it's really tough being a Niner fan having to defend the team to our fanbase. I've gotten more respect on the Garoppolo thing from outsiders than a bunch of the Zone.

Niners have real potential next year on offense if they up the WR position.......they can be so tough to defend on all levels........HB, FB, TE, WR1, WR2, WR3....neither Fangio nor Belichick would be able to shut that down so effectively as there's no 1 or 2 guys that you have to take away and you're good.....
Annoyed the f*** outta me hearing Romo and Nantz talk about the FB position in the passing and running game being exclusive to the Patriots....

That was what Kyle said as well. The problem with that is that it does not allow for a long slow drive that kills clock when they need it. Also, on numerous plays, Mahomes was not able to find a quick target to relieve pressure. Took some horrific sacks in the first half. Had the Chiefs been able to generate anything in the first half, the game would have ended in regulation. He's young. He will learn.

One other thing, Sammy Watkins proved why Brett Veach invested the money in him. With Hill being held to just one catch, and Kelce just 3 for 23, Watkins had 4 for 114 yards. He kept the Chiefs in the game offensively.

This. As great as Mahomes has been, he has soo much more to work with, it's not even funny!

Kittle is nice and is up there with Kelce, but the rest of our WR core doesn't hold s**t compared to KC. Also, let's slow our roll on pushing Jimmy out, he still needs game time in this offense. That knee injury sucked for his development.

Tyreek Hill is definitely better than Goodwin, don't go there. For real though, Tyreek Hill, Chris Conley and Sammy Watkins is a damn good trio to have at your disposal. Would love to see how Mahomes would do with Marquise Goodwin (family matters), Kendrick Boure and Trent Taylor, not to mention a merry-go-round at running back!!!

Merry go around? Chiefs lost their RB too. Damien Williams was undrafted and did nothing for Miami in 4 years

Conley is a scrub who will never sniff 1000 yards

Sammy was basically given up by 2 teams

Hill and Kelce are both legit great weapons. But Patriots shut both down and Mahomes still had an outstanding game.

Why do people keep acting like Chiefs are insanely stacked. Mahomes has 2 great players, and both were shutdown

Also huge game by Sorensen, game of his life.

Conley a scrub, he's far from it. Just because he doesn't reach 1,000 yards doesn't make him a scrub, dude could start right away for the 9ers. Sammy Watkins is better than a lot of #2 receivers in the league. I wouldn't say the Rams gave up on him dude was a free agent you act like they cut him. And with that said, Watkins still put up good numbers (114 yards), so lets not act like hes some scrub too who (how you put it) was given up by two teams.

I admit, Mahomes is damn good, but lets not act like he's not getting help.
