JH/Roman fkd us with that play calling at the end. Frankie couldn't be stopped. Why run it with James on first down?
I wanted at least one fkn run with Gore who busted that 33 yard run to get us down there.
I hate it when teams try to get all cute at the goaline. Oh yeah let's run a Goaline fade because that's such a high % play.
i get gore going out after the big run. my thing that pissed me off. even dumb little james got two yards on first and goal from the 7 against a defense that was set up to stop the run... fine.. now second and goal from the five. you have a fully rested gore.,. and dixon and yes ck and they are behind what,. at the time. was the best run blocking line in the nfl.. and what did roman do with acceptance from jh,. i can not bring my self to tell you cuz you know. here lets use gore as a decoy so we can show the world how smart we are. than of course. terrible clock management which was a staple of our teams then , no matter the qb bit us at the worst time with the time out... ok when you spell it out cuz that is exactly how it happened. that is proof the refs had nothing to do with the loss. and even if i accept the theory the refs did not call the game fair.. all that crap could have been eliminated had we took care of our own stuff at the end of the game. had eddie been charge he would have demanded changes after the game.. we do not go to super bowls to lose them

Wasn't there even a play towards the end where Kap was sacked, but the defensive guy was just about in the backfield when the ball was snapped. What also get's me is, Harbs theory of smash-mouth running the ball, and when he should have, Kap threw idiotic passes.
1. One of the best backfields in the NFL. check.
2. Up against an exhausted defensive line. check
3 Ray Lewis was not even in on the last few plays (could be wrong about this one) check.
Ray Lewis shouldn't even have been playing with that roided up broken tricep.
This sentimental crap of winning it all for Ray in his final game. He had a murder wrap that he beat by the skin of his teeth. The infamous blood stained white suit was never recovered. He averted a civil suit by paying. Basically, a thug that could ball.

NE winning after 9/11 was the biggest one I heard.
this ^ ...the PATRIOTS had to / were going to win no matter what. And the league made sure of that happening.

Apparently the Yankees didn't get that memo.

They almost won. It was like one play away iirc
First off, where are eagles "super crazy underdogs"? They're at +4.5 on my sports book.

Why? Surely NY needed to win no matter what, after 9/11?

Patriots, red, white, blue. Boston might of at least had a plane involved too.

Not saying I buy it but that's what I constantly heard.

It turned America Patriotic so it fit that Patriots win. Patriot act.

Same goes for Katrina. Just a coincidence the Saints won the first Super Bowl after Katrina?

Jerome Bettie retirement year bs SEA. SEA got screwed.

Ray Lewis retirement Super Bowl.
