Patriots, red, white, blue. Boston might of at least had a plane involved too.

Not saying I buy it but that's what I constantly heard.

The Jets? I don't think so

Giants. Representing NY, home of the World Trade Center.
nah Giants didn't make the playoffs that year

People tell me off and make a big deal when I tell them the 49ers vs Ravens was the worst officiating SB I've ever watched. They always say they deserved to lose for the way they came out the 1st half. Talk about conspiracies, from what I remember, the best refs who made the most correct calls got the nod to officiate the SB. Why did goddell hand pick the refs that season? Makes me sick writing this, that SB loss still gets to me and I hope they bring one back to witness in my lifetime! ... honorable mention that Seahawks Steelers super bowl has bad officiating as well in the early 2000. Just my two cents ✌🏽

That first play of the SB12 game where our wideout wasn't on the line and a flag was thrown set the tone. Usually the play is so insignificant the refs will just let it go but remind the offensive team they will call it next time. The blatant holding on the second half kickoff and the 10 Ravens holding on the safety at the end of the game stand out. In the 4th quarter the Ravens were gassed and couldn't move. The overweight Raven DL and linebacker group were done. I try not to think about it because that was our 6th ring.

I think the "Patriots" name has a better meaning then the "Giants" during that time

It was TE Vern lining up wrong..
Head to head on Crabtree
Holding on Crabtree
Ravens shoving a ref and still being allowed to play WITH NO FLAG
Holding on MILLER I believe during kickoff for ravens TD

I can go on

But there are no agendas according to people

Seriously? The NFL would fix a game - and risk a multi billion dollar operation - because a Boston-based team winning the super bowl would somehow make up for the terrorist hit on New York? Even if they had been called the New England Americans it wouldn't have happened. The Patriots name as a reason is beyond tenuous.

That one seems void because of the huge hexed "13" in front.

Reminds of the babe.

jh and roman going full retard at crunch time. our dc deciding it would be nice for two all pro backers to set around and play checkers in pass coverage while joe ate us up and exposed our weakness in the secondary was the reason we lost. plain and simple

There we go a voice of reason. Plus Culliver fkn falling down not once but twice and giving up huge plays?
JH/Roman fkd us with that play calling at the end. Frankie couldn't be stopped. Why run it with James on first down?
I wanted at least one fkn run with Gore who busted that 33 yard run to get us down there.
I hate it when teams try to get all cute at the goaline. Oh yeah let's run a Goaline fade because that's such a high % play.

Such a stupid and flawed conspiracy.

They followed that up the next year with horrible officiating in the NFCCG vs Seattle.

i get gore going out after the big run. my thing that pissed me off. even dumb little james got two yards on first and goal from the 7 against a defense that was set up to stop the run... fine.. now second and goal from the five. you have a fully rested gore.,. and dixon and yes ck and they are behind what,. at the time. was the best run blocking line in the nfl.. and what did roman do with acceptance from jh,. i can not bring my self to tell you cuz you know. here lets use gore as a decoy so we can show the world how smart we are. than of course. terrible clock management which was a staple of our teams then , no matter the qb bit us at the worst time with the time out... ok when you spell it out cuz that is exactly how it happened. that is proof the refs had nothing to do with the loss. and even if i accept the theory the refs did not call the game fair.. all that crap could have been eliminated had we took care of our own stuff at the end of the game. had eddie been charge he would have demanded changes after the game.. we do not go to super bowls to lose them
