We'll see how this thing plays out. He was the OC when the Skins drafted Jordan Reed, who was troubled and not much of a blocker either.

If they bring in Graham and make it clear that he's a WR for all intents and purposes, I don't have an issue with that but I've been going back through some Seahawks games on Gamepass and this guy just has zero desire to block, completely halfhearted attempts at blocking, drops a few too many passes but is useful in the redzone. Just depends on how the situation shakes out with the available receivers on the market. What I don't want to see is Graham winding up in any position where he's pass blocking or regularly being used as an inline blocker because dude has no business doing that.
No thanks on the softy. His career as a legit threat is over.
Hell NO. There's only one Jimmy G in this team.
I'd rather have Eiffert
If used properly, he can be a Gronk-Like presence on 3rd downs and in the Red Zone. Only problem is that we are fairly solid at TE.

Also note that Graham excelled in a high-octane pass-heavy offense with Drew Brees. Russell Wilson's offscript antics were what ruined Graham's game breaker status.

Yeah but I don't think SEA head coaches focus much on pass blocking.
Dude is soft and afraid of catching balls up the middle. Huge pass.

Bleacher Report is saying he'll end up in Oakland with Gruden.

Didn't realize he had the fewest receiving yards since his rookie year this past season.

He'd just be on the IR for us too.

Wow never thought of that....it actually could happen. Maybe we can get George Kittle......."

Pass...

Don't want a 32 year old TE who refuses to block and who's numbers have been on a steady decline.

Graham wanted to be paid like a WR because he claimed that was what NO was using him for in effect. So, bring him in as a possession-type receiver and red zone target WR but on a prove-it type contract.

Personally I discount his lack of production in Seattle because that passing offense is more about school yard scrambles than any particular intent. How could such a productive guy in NO turn into a nothing in Seattle? The answer has to be the system.

I'm "meh" on bringing him here unless Kyle thinks he can be utilized and Lynch can structure a contract that makes sense for the intended use. No way he gets $10million/yr just to be a red zone target. Better to bring him here with high incentives based on TDs and 3rd down completions and he might make sense. I doubt he will accept something like that but it is the only way I would bring him here.

Should have prefaced it by saying if he's healthy and if they can get him on a prove it deal

Why? That assumes another team is throwing him gobs of guaranteed money. I just don't see it. I think he could very easily have to "settle" for a large, production oriented 1-year deal in hopes of building his name back and cashing in on a 3-4 year deal in 2019. He only just turned 31. Not an issue for a guy who didn't make his name as a speedster. Just needs to be a big body with hands.

I don't care if we sign him or not. But it appears obvious that the Niners would be great place to rehab your game tape as a red zone weapon. I don't imagine many other teams offer more upside.
