Depends who you replace him with, as we found out.
That's true. He isn't the worst.

Huh? Build around a player you need to replace? Did you really just say that?
So the theory is if you replace everyone with better players the team will be better? Wow I can't believe no one has thought of that.
He was making a joke about our team and Brock Purdy

Hunter Renfrow has proven to be a reliable slot reciever who was a 3rd down machine with Carr. He has 3 catches in 3 games with Jimmy.

Is anyone surprised ? Did anyone besides the most homers think something would go differently when Jimmy is forced to pass 40 times a game ?
Anyone who at least tries to be objective would know that Jimmy is a turnover machine. Last night's game was a vintage Jimmy game. He got injured, threw bunch of passes into double and triple coverage, threw a few hospital balls, threw three picks, one of which was extremely ugly and inexplicable. He also moved the ball decently and force fed his two top receivers, forgetting he has Renfrow.
It was always obvious that if you put Jimmy on a team that needs to drop back and pass, his turnovers will skyrocket just off the volume increasing.
Right now he's on pace for over thirty interceptions. I doubt he gets to that number though because at some point he'll either get injured or benched. Raiders offense has 25% of their drives ending in a turnover, easily leading the league. TWENTY FIVE PERCENT. And yes, it's really early. But in comparison the Niners have 3% of drives resulting in a turnover.

Quite a few over the summer thought he'd be improved. One was talking how he was going to make a monumental difference to the Raiders D.
He was always going to throw for more yards but lose because of that D. If he can't keep from turning the ball over though it will get even worse. As you said 30 picks is completely unsustainable for any offense.

I took him with my last pick in a few best ball leagues and he's done nothing like you said... I hope they trade him to KC or something.
