Yup. Plays well, makes his usual boneheaded pass and then makes the plays to win. It's never easy with him but it usually works.

The interception was the receiver's fault.

It always someone else's fault, not Jimmy's. Never change WZ.

He played pretty damn well besides that though. Something you can't admit. You're no different.

I watched the game. He played fine, but had an awful redzone interception that was completely his fault anywhere but in this thread.

Funny pretty sure I said he had his usual boneheaded pass.... Besides that, even the commentators credited Jimmy for playing well. Not you though. You never once ever gave Jimmy credit for anything, ever. Then you have that audacity to point your finger at others. You were negative and miserable his entire career here on these boards... even after wins. You could never just be happy and enjoy.
Enjoy boneheaded plays ? winning was great but it doesn't erase that jimmy made it harder than it should

JG threw an INT in the redzone that cost his team points. It was a rookie level mistake

BP threw a ball away and failed to keep the clock running at the end of the 1st half that PIT took advantage of to score

Both are mistakes that shouldn't happen in a game if your goal is to win a SB

One was made by a 2nd year player playing his 9th or so NFL game
Mahomes made some stupid mistakes too. Every QB makes bad decisions. Nearly every game. Lol this place has always acted like Jimmy's interceptions were just completely unheard of. A vast majority of interceptions are stupid mistakes. That is why they are intercepted.
the whole everyone makes mistake is such a weak excuse lol

not unheard of but they are pretty bad

It's not an excuse it's NFL football lol. Interceptions are mainly mistakes. Jimmy made a mistake he shouldn't have made. Just like Brock will make mistakes. Difference is you only cry when Jimmy does it. Me I understand it's part of football. Mistakes happen.

Yup AT and SWH triggered that Jimmy won. They used to hate it when he won here too.

My first post in here after the game was in response to someone claiming the INT wasnt his fault. Has nothing to do with being triggered about the Raiders winning. I have been a 49er fan for decades. Please save the nonsense about me hating when we won with Jimmy. Its utter garbage.

What I find funny about this debate is that both parties agree the interception was a bad decision, and yet here we are arguing, this time about how stupid Jimmy's stupid mistakes are.
^^ But I'll bite: so far Brock's mistakes are less punishing to the team. He protects the ball better.

Fans in general, all fan bases, just aren't patient and are reactionary to the extreme. Obviously there are exceptions. But every game thread for every team, regardless of the sport, consists of people microanalyzing and agonizing over every little thing that goes wrong and how that guy sucks.

Jimmy did a very good job for us here. Were and are there better quarterbacks? Of course. But when you find one who plays at a high enough level for you to win at a high level, it's not as easy as fans want to think to just "replace him with someone better."

We tried that obviously with Lance. And when it was all said and done Kyle didn't have as much faith in Trey as he did in Sam Darnold for crying out loud.

If Jimmy has an Alex Smith level career than he winds up being a very good NFL QB. Because Alex wound up being pretty good. His main problem was he was the number one overall pick in the NFL draft and when that's the case at that position, if you're not one of the league's best then you're a disappointment if not a bust in some eyes.

I'd say his main problem was he was a plus player as a 49er in 1.5 of the 8 years he was a 49er.

Hard to be a plus player with Mike Nolan trying to wreck his career.
