There is zero chance of an indefinite suspension.
If you read the judge's opinion, she clearly would have provided a longer suspension, but past league actions and the rules currently in place do not allow her to do that. She's not entitled to over step what the law (in this case, precedent / policy) provides. Goodell can do whatever he wants. It's a private company, not even truly bound by the CBA or NFLPA. Would there be appeals, lawsuits, repercussions for certain unilateral actions by Goodell? Well, of course.
In this case, he may decide to increase the punishment, but it's all for show. The NFL isn't going to make more money / increase it's viewership based on his decision. The NFL also isn't going to lose anything if they keep the punishment as is. I imagine, if Goodell wants a harsher punishment, he will call for something around 8-12 games, with a much stiffer monetary penalty.
But as I said, this is all for show. People talking about "justice" are f**king clueless. They (more than likely) have never spent a moment in a court room, in a professional capacity. Nor do they have any idea what justice would actually entail, for
the victims in this case. A longer suspension or a larger monetary penalty won't bring about closure or justice for these alleged victims (I say alleged because I have not seen all the facts. I believe there are multiple victims in this case, but belief and fact are not one in the same--though some fans here like to argue speculation and belief are reality / facts

).
