For the sake of a future 5th rounder, it's time to assemble and msg every Steeler fan that Jimmy G is their best option for the season!

It's worth it considering I have faith our FO can turn a 5th rounder into an all-pro.

See if they will give us Witherspoon the Human Torch. We need him back to give TL some added confidence in camp.

This pairing is just too perfect. Good AFC team with plenty of history, Trubisky is trash, Rudolph is a career back up and Pickett just isn't ready yet. The Steelers can't seriously be thinking about punting the season before it even starts by starting one of those 3. No way they stand a chance at beating Cinci and Burrow or Lamar and the Ravens. They can maybe beat the Browns with Brissett. Get this deal done already!

I don't see it. I mean you don't dress 3 QBs. So if they got JG.. they would have Pickett who they just drafted (1st round), Trubisky (who they just signed) and JG as what.. starter? He's gonna start after a couple practices over those guys who've been working all summer. Not seeing it here fellas.

Pretty sure I see NY, SWH, Strwy, and 49ersRing in that picture.

Pretty sure not a single one of us would watch Jimmy instead of our team. I know team over player is a difficult concept for the younger generation but yeah I wouldnt be caught dead watching a former player's workout. I didnt even love watching him play games.

This was a near perfect pairing from the moment Jimmy's days were numbered here. I don't know wtf Tomlin and that front office saw in Trubisky other than he's mobile. Jimmy fits perfectly for what that offense has been doing for a while now

The Steelers were always a vertical team.. pound the rock and throw deep.. they changed last couple years cuz Ben's arm turned to utter trash he had elbow problems and couldn't push it much past 10 yards. Trubisky for all his shortcomings has some arm talent.. you don't get taken 2 overall without it.

this is all my opinion i could be wrong

NFL filed an appeal on the 6 game Deshaun suspension, I believe. So Browns may still trade for Jimmy. Maybe.

Cleveland has a playoff ready roster. If Watson is out for the year, there's no way they are rolling with Jacoby Brissett as their starter, especially when Houston owns their draft picks for the next three years. If might not be Garoppolo but they are making a move for someone if Goodell drops the hammer.

Sounds like Trubisky is stinking it up

Pickett is a lock for obvious reasons. Rudolph can easily be your third qb that is either on the roster or on the practice squad. Depends on how much guaranteed money Trubisky got from the Steelers this offseason. If the money is low and Trubisky is truly stinking it up as the reports suggest, I could easily see a situation similar to when the Seahags signed Matt Flynn to be QB1 only to get beat out by Russell Wilson. Move on from Trubisky and get Jimmy G. Jimmy can be very successful in Pittsburgh imo.

How much is Trubisky's contract? Could the Niners trade Jimmy for Trub and pick(s)?
