It's pretty crazy that Jimmy hasn't yet said enough is enough and asked to be released - at least that we know of.

It is getting weird at this point. It's even weirder that he is still on the sideline practicing at 49ers training camp practices. He has to understand that no one is paying him that contract right? I can't imagine another single starting QB who wouldn't have demanded a release publicly by now.

He's rehabbing, he has no options. He has to remain quiet to keep the peace.

But he doesn't have to be at the facility. That tells me they are keeping him close...for a reason.

Yeah.

Yes I agree. That's the only way it makes sense is if they are making real progress on a trade.

Yeah, I can't remember how many practice fields they have but it's a bunch. For him to be there during practice with fans and media to "rehab" is suspect to me. They could be doing that any time and away from the public eye too.

You know you don't believe that. Haha

lol nothing is suspect. Kyle said Jimmy will come to the facility for rehab and his throwing program. the Niners are still handling both of those things and it's not done "off-site" Jimmy leaves when he's done.

and all three practice fields are right next to each other.

So, if Jimmy (god forbid) gets hurt while training at the facility, is he protected financially in any way? I know he was protected before the team cleared him medically, but what if he blows out a knee or reinjures his shoulder in a passing session at the facility?

Would they need to come to an injury release/settlement? Might explain his willingness to stick around.

Yeah, there is that one across the way and the main stadium field too. He's just lightly throwing. Just think it's odd he has to be doing it at the highest visibility. Chris Biderman said it felt more like an audition with NFLN there, an interview, throwing for all to see, etc.

Good theory too.

Yeah, that'd be a neat trick.
