Oh s**t. Well if he can throw 50 yards now, bring him back!

I guess that torn ligament and bone chip got him the Henry Rowengartner super power now

I would think the team would grant his request if he makes it. What I'm wondering is why would he at this point? He's making $20 plus million next year and not starting. If he's cut, he's making less than $10 million to either get a chance to compete or not start.

Well it's pretty clear 49ers will cut him before week 1 if it comes to it - so he's not getting the $24 million.

No one looks to be trading for him - so you'd think he'd want to be released sooner rather than later giving more chance to build into the season with a new team as opposed to right before Week 1.

Unless they think NFL might appeal the Watson suspension and that the Browns are still a possibility?

Gonna go to Seattle and magically stay healthy for 10 more years and throw 65 yard bombs on the regular to DK Metcalf.

Off schedule bombs to boot

It is getting weird at this point. It's even weirder that he is still on the sideline practicing at 49ers training camp practices. He has to understand that no one is paying him that contract right? I can't imagine another single starting QB who wouldn't have demanded a release publicly by now.

Yes he can throw it 50 yards. Problem is target was 35 yards.

Which kind of has that feel that something is done (in principle) or close to it. That statement Lynch made had a bit of a "great" deal feel (for both parties) to it as well with the timing too.

I'm reading too much into it but it's all we got. Ha

Yes I agree. That's the only way it makes sense is if they are making real progress on a trade.

He's rehabbing, he has no options. He has to remain quiet to keep the peace.

But he doesn't have to be at the facility. That tells me they are keeping him close...for a reason.
