This is the conclusion I arrived at, shortly after the thread started. We all have our name for him,
and knowing the WZ, that is not going to change. From my POV, his nick-names are applicable
to a particular situation … or, what time it is. One thing for sure, the guy is money on third downs.
Hence my G MON€Y entry

I'm shocked John Lynch gave Jimmy G number 10 without consulting Kyle Williams. I hope it doesn't come back to bite us in the @ss. That could turn a lot of fans against the FO.

To be fair Jags are responsible for him throwing those picks. They've been getting them all year and Jimmy has thrown balls which can certainly be intercepted. Hopefully he doesn't on Sunday and finds a way to attack them but it won't be easy.

I know its a small sample size and there are still a lot moving parts to the issue of his signing a deal but given this offense and Garoppolo's skill set I am having a hard time thinking of a QB that is currently in the league and under 30 (actually having a hard time thinking of any over 30) that I would rather have on the team than Jimmy GQ. Wentz maybe but as his injury showed his physical style of play has its drawbacks. Not Goff, not Watson, not Carr, definitely none of the Brown's QBs. And while there maybe some rookie QBs coming out in the draft that could have nice career's Jimmy GQ is ready to go RIGHT NOW. No learning curve, no development time, no having to get used to the speed of the NFL game. Must say that the Niners really lucked into something with NE's brain freeze over Brady.
