Because that team is stacked with talent from top to bottom. Stafford helped them as he's a big upgrade over Goff, but let's not kid ourselves. Imagine what Mahomes or Rodgers would do with Kupp and Co. At the bare minimum, you get the same production except half the amount of picks (although Mahomes threw quite a few picks this season).

Yes sir. We all want a real Franchise QB. One who understands the game situation and can make a play when necessary. The magic is making a play even when the defense does everything right as well. Jimmy is certainly NOT that, but was barely top 15 imo. With our team marginally better QB play would have won it all.

Even though I hate McVay, he is better than any HC Stafford ever had in Detroit. As for Mahomes, he has Hill and Kelce, he loss in the SB and afc championship now the Chiefs will be on the decline, Rodgers has Adams but is close to being done, 1 and done, his time is up. LUCK/Karma eventually runs out and cycle always closes sooner or later.

But consider what Kupp has done this season, I would take him over Hill, Adams or even Deebo, the guy is unstoppable "this season". Give props where props is due. Next season who knows who will be a unstoppable beast? Again LUCK/Karma eventually runs out and cycle always closes sooner or later.

Oh, McVay absolutely is. And the rest of the team too. This is by far the best team Stafford has ever played on, and it's not even close. As good as Megatron was as a freak athlete, Kupp was better this year than any season Megatron ever had. Time will tell, but at this rate, Kupp will more than likely have a better career (individually speaking) than Megatron. Kupp is just that good.

NFL is a team game, you dont need the best QB in the league to win a SB but you need a good enough one to compete (get there and win one, Jimmy G has proven he's not good enough as a 9er) and it doesn't hurt to have a unstoppable #1 WR (like Kupp this season) and #1 pass rusher (like A Donald) both mostly double teamed in the SB (but still got it done) and a #1 corner like Ramsey on your team.

Doesn't matter, Rodgers throw zero TD and got beat in his own stadium as the #1 seed, Mahomes ran out steam and most likely the Chiefs will be on the decline now after losing the SB and then the afc championship. Next season which WR will be a beast and unstoppable? It changes every season. The most consistent WR for a long time in his career to ever play the game was Jerry Rice, doubt Kupp can replicate Rice's career and accolades.

Remember Victor Cruz (he was unstoppable) and the Giants SB run?
He didn't last very long after that...

Not good enough to win a SB with the 9ers and failed in the end this season as well with a pretty stacked team, why they went all in and drafted Trey doh.

Aka Stafford+Kupp > Jimmy G+deebo on offense this season. The weakest link here is Jimmy G.

And of course Kupp's production wouldn't double, but it would very much go up as his QB would be much more consistent.

Risk and reward type of QB and has the arm strength (and good enough accruarcy) to back it up + Kupp = SB Champs this season, Give props... Jimmy G lacks arm strength and even mobility (both things Trey possesses) as well as bad decisions at bad times (this is where Trey needs to learn via experience in the NFL, he got to sit, watched and absorb this season, part of the grand plan all along), why he's on his way out and his replacement is already in line to take over.

Kupp would be a nobody if he was on this team and Jimmy was throwing to him. Shanahan would have to design some cute gadget plays and have Kupp run out of the backfield because our QB can't throw a ball 🤣🤣🤣

I couldn't even bring myself to watch the SB yesterday. I didn't tune in until the BS call that lead to the lambs scoring, then I turned the channel. I just couldn't stomach watching a SB we would have been in but for Jimmy. Then the lambs win Just talking about it make me wanna vomit.
