Rather get a FA WR...already developed and it will let us use our draft picks elsewhere. Could easily pick up two good ones like Jarvis Landry and Sammy Watkins.

Landry plays Taylor's slot role and is overrated IMO. Watkins isn't a true #1 either....pass on his fragile ass lol.

Honestly I don't see them spending big money on a WR in FA with Garcon getting a large paycheck (not sure how much they want to invest cap wise there). A Robinson and D Adams would be my preferred guys just doubt they spend the dough (wouldn't hate it though)

there's some names in the draft that could be had in the 2nd or later....

Simmie Cobbs Jr.
Equanimeous St. Brown
Arden Tate
Christian Kirk
Anthony Miller
Deon Cain (doubt his there in the late 2nd)

Garcon isn't a long term answer though so I don't see a problem in investing more at WR. Adams is born in Palo Alto too so maybe that helps . I'm good with Watkins and ARob too.

I don't think Landry is overrated but it would be a little redundant to sign him with Taylor. We need a true number 1 like Robinson which you mentioned but I doubt he will be available. I still think at the right price we should go after Marquise Lee (I know a lot of people don't like him because of the drops) but drafting one of these receivers high in a bad WR class doesn't make much sense to me with all the holes we have. Maybe we should go after a sleeper like Tavarez King or Brice Butler who have looked decent this season. I think next year every one of our receiving weapons will look better with Jimmy G throwing the ball.

I wouldn't say he's overrated but I'm good with Taylor playing on a rookie deal than paying big money to Landry who is a woman beater...

Watkins is lazy and I wouldn't trust giving him a big contract. If he had it together Bills wouldn't trade him after spending what they did for him.
Sign him yesterday! What the hell is the delay

He's probably doubled his asking price since last week... Good chance it goes up even further against the Texans.

I don't think Jimmy's in a rush right now. It'll happen though.
0 TD's, 1 INT, no offensive TD's and beat a 3-8 team by 1 point. Let's slow down on the HOF talk already.

Definitely looked promising but lets see how he does against some real football teams before crowning him.

I dont think anyone is crowning him a HOFer. A lot of folks are just happy to see the obvious improvement at the position.

The INT wasn't his fault, and in addition to not knowing the full playbook, miscues by the rest of the team are also responsible for no TD's in the red zone.

Bears might be 3-8 but they've been okay at home (beat the Steelers and Panthers, haven't lost by more than one possession) and have had an above average defense.

On top of it all, with Garcon out our #1 WR right now is pretty much a #3 WR. And Hyde didn't have his best game either.

I'm cautiously optimistic but he has the abilities to succeed. Just a matter of how he can adjust when defenses review tape and adjust.

I'm sure yall touched on this, but this is one of the plays I was talking about yesturday.

Everything about it was perfect. Pressure right in his face... adjusted arm angle... was still accurate...

And most importantly, along with his other throws that game, got rid of it just early enough to be able to protect himself from a free hit.

That was the ONLY thing I was worried about Jimmy G. Durability. I love everything else. So seeing more of him... how he protects himself... yea I'm excited.

naw.......... just a reaction to finally seeing a QB do what a competent QB is suppose to do.

We've been wandering through the football desert with an empty water bottle. We have stumbled upon the Garoppolo water source. We're just a tad unhinged.
