Patriots gonna be kicking themselves for this trade in a few years

What choice did they really have? They have to keep playing Brady

Ya, they weren't going to give up Brady and can't pay 2 starting QB salaries...

If this is the case, it's about f**king time !!! Lol

good for them too. working class family from illinois.

they should move out to cali, get a fat house and retire. they can chill with the brady's in san mateo

I forget Tom was at the 81 NFCCG
Yes I loved Jimmy G looked good his 1st game but in all honesty I'm thinking next year when Lynch fixes the O-Line and signs a number 1 WR..it's exciting..

Like I said he plays the slot and he basically getting handoffs. 8.7 YPA and avg 58 yards per game isn't good at all. 370 catches in 4 yrs with only 19 TDs...he's a good slot WR but I think we have one already.

Watkins has 528 yards in 12 games (44 yards per game), gonna need 120 yards a game to make that happen. Don't see it.

Better options then those guys imo.

I finally have hope of this franchise turning things for the better. Been 7 years since I could say that.

Loved everything that I saw yesterday! Was equally impressed with Jimmy's post game interview with the press. This guy is pure class and really looks the part! He was charming and polite, answered everybody's questions with a smile and looked like a million dollars. He's already the new face of the franchise.

After watching Jimmy's presser, I had a smirk on my face and wondered aloud if any Niner fans miss Kaepernick with his crooked hat, Beats around his neck spitting off nasty one word answers to the reporters?

So glad those days are over!

I couldn't care less about any of that. I was more interested in how he played, not what he wore.

Garcon isn't a long term answer though so I don't see a problem in investing more at WR. Adams is born in Palo Alto too so maybe that helps . I'm good with Watkins and ARob too.

2020 is when garçon's contract looks like it would make sense to let him go....Yeah Adams is a Cali guy and I'd be cool with bringing in whomever.

I hear you, man.
Lmao the only proof you need to clarify this guy's Elite status is that he's making a scrub like Louis Murphy look like an accidental Pro Bowler. Guys like Montana and Brady won Superbowls with far less before they dominated with a full-house at the poker table.

That being said, Goodwin will be Jimmy's Freddie Solomon, and you can take that to the blood bank.

This is probably the most pumped I've been for an upcoming offseason since 94'

I was so unconcerned on 3rd downs lol. I havent had that feeling in YEARS.

My favorite part was when he yelled at whoever to get into the right position. Thats exactly what i wanna see.

Haha. Yes! I think it was Rogers he yelled at. ?

Yeah I love Garcon and what he brings but bringing in Robinson or Adams would be great, both great red zone WRs which is needed bad, bring in 1 of them and a WR group of Robinson or Adams, Garcon, Goodwin, Taylor, Bourne would be nice for Jimmy G..
