defender enough with the condescending posts.

Yes, we ALL know what Jimmy was SCHEDULED to play. But guess what? He played MORE than what he was scheduled to play. So you harping about what he was scheduled to play couldnt possibly be more irrelevant.

What some of us are saying is based on how the game went with Jimmy, Shanny should have run him out there for another series or so. There is clearly a rust issue.
This place will go nuclear with another subpar to horrendous outing Saturday
Hey y'all! This is my first post! Am I the only one that thinks Jimmy has a stimulant problem? He is the most fidgety person I've ever seen do interviews. I'm not accusing him of being a coke addict, but he's got some kind of weird anxiety going on. Anyway's, have all the hope in the world for Jimmy, but, what's his deal man?

With all the testing these guys are forced to go through these days? I doubt that very much. It would have been caught and flagged immediately. In other words, fans would know about it. I'm sure that Shanny and Lynch would be well aware of it too.

I haven't seen it. But, then again, I haven't seen many interviews done lately with Jimmy G.

Then prepare for this place to "go nuclear," as you say, because it will be awhile before we see the old Jimmy G. You just don't come back from a knee issue like that and step back in the huddle and be outstanding. It doesn't work like that.

I suspect we won't see the old Jimmy G. until 5-6 games into the start of the regular season.

Plus, I suspect that Shanahan will lean a bit more on the running game before he allows his prized QB to start winging it down the field. Don't be surprised if the 49ers stumble out of the gate with a 1-3 or 1-4 start.

Bro. I know you're a sucker for a good debate, but come on now. Let's put this burden down together, eh? Move on to the next game.

Keeps him from getting complacent and makes him work harder to prove himself.

Was that an issue?

No, it wasn't. But in Jeep's defense, I can see where he's coming from.

There's probably nobody more upset and embarassed by his showing in the Denver game than Jimmy G. himself. He's a competitor. He knows how he looked. He's human. It probably bothers him deep down. And, yes, it gives him a little more incentive to do better.

This is what I was thinking.

Hey I love jimmy g and think he's gonna be a great QB for us. Sucks he lost a year getting injured but we can't go backwards, gotta move ahead.

If he'd of came in and lit Denver's defense up, then the, here we come SB talk would be running rampant so that's why I'm ok he got a 0.0 qb rating.

I agree. I'm not bothered by this. If this were the regular season, it would be considered a slow start to an entire game. There's a lot more to come and I'm sure no one seriously believes Jimmy is going to complete 16% of his passes this year lol. Now if he s**ts the bed playing a full half or whatever he is scheduled to play for the 3rd game, there is cause for some concern. But there's nothing out of camp about him looking that awful and no KS QB, including CJ Beathard, will look that bad in a regular season game.

Great first post, and welcome to the board. Very observant on your part and most likely true, reminds me of that time I woke up with two strippers in a water fountain out front some government building in Dallas Texas. Soon blacked out again and woke up maybe a hour later in a hotel banging those chicks, there was some dude in the corner sitting on the chair beating off with a rubbery one... and he mumbles "can I get in there dirty?". I quickly snapped too and told him no, kicked him out of the room. I was on vailum and MDMA, was rolling balls and the rest of the night was a blissful sexual escapade... Looking back, that guy in the chair was most likely Jimmy Garoppolo, pervert drug addict with a chronic masturbation problem. I forgive him I suppose, but I love patio glue, have you ever eaten patio glue?
