.........I knew it, he is Superman!!!
I'm listening to the Inside the Huddle podcast, it's by the UK Sky sports NFL team with Neil Reynolds who's a really good journalist and the main journalist for the NFL in the UK.

Anyway, Reynolds said he had approached the Niners the request an interview with Jimmy G as one of the big stories going into 2018. The Niners media team replied and said that Jimmy isn't doing any one on one media interviews at all about himself (he doesn't want t), but as Reynolds has a really good relationship with them they said they could meet halfway. Reynolds will get his interview with Jimmy as long as the conversation is about the whole team.

I think that's why he didn't go to the state of the franchise, he want a the spotlight to be in the team and not him alone.

Jimmy gonna give away all the team secrets in return for saving what's in his closet

That's fascinating. I was wondering how "the face of the Franchise" AKA "Panty Dropper" wasn't at that event. It certainly lines up with his character for sure.
Smart move, comes off as a team first guy and good leader while avoiding questions about his private life.

Think we got a good one here.

I agree, Offense needs to be good, but need not be great. Defense that makes plays is usually the better defense. But yeah, the offense usually overshadows the defense - even during our 5 super bowl wins, our defense usually gets only an after thought.

In the 1981 NFCCG, the Niners had SIX turnovers! And, STILL WON the game! That's PURE defense! Seeing the Niners kick Danny White and the rest of the Cowgirls a$$es was wonderful!
There's still some NFL fans out there who think Jimmy Garoppolo will get exposed this season because he only played 7 games and got "overpaid", it's stupid and baseless as hell but it annoys me that people really think this way.

Here's a guy who came into a team in late October that was arguably the worst team in the league not only that season but for the last 2-3 seasons, offenseive line in shambles, no receiving threats to speak of, and having to learn Shanahans notoriously difficult playbook that even a veteran like Matt Ryan struggled learning in his first FULL SEASON with Kyle. I think even the most optimistic 49ers fans believe that Jimmy would probably struggle with the talent around him and that we would have to wait until next season to get a real evaluation from him, instead the team improved under every statistic cadigory over night once he got his chance under center, Marquise Goodwin was close to getting ran out of town, suddenly he nearly eclipses 1,000 receiving, "Celek time" was actually a thing when Garrett Celek was mostly a nobody before, offensive line improves dramatically even with Zane Beatles at RT. Sure you could nit-pick and say his footwork & deep throw accuracy needs work, but who's to say he won't or hasn't improved with a full offseason with the 49ers? Maybe opposing fans are just salty that the 49ers robbed the Patriots of another franchise QB and their teams still can't get one, trust me I get the feeling. But no need to be disrespectful, Jimmy is the real deal and if he can stay healthy NFL fans better get used to him
