I hope we sign Jimmy before the super bowl so we can all be excited about something. Seeing the Patriots in the super bowl yet again makes me so sick. Hopefully Jimmy G goes against Brady next year, destroys him, makes him and Belicheck retire and sends their franchise back to the Cleveland Browns age.

This. Like the league isn't even competitive. I have no faith that anyone can knock those guys off. Even during our run, you couldn't just hand to SB to us every year. There were some other teams that were either great (Bears, Cowboys, Packers) or had great coaching (Packers, Cowboys, Redskins, Giants, and even the Saints, Rams, and Vikings to a lesser extent) that could knock you off. I liken it to if you some guy was a 6 time world heavyweight boxing champion now. That number totally dwarfs previous greats, but in this era where there aren't really many great heavyweights, does the number have the same meaning? The teams that would be considered second best in this era like the Colts and Steelers are such a distant second it's not even funny.
