Dear ,Niner brethren it has been a fun ride the last 40 years but it has to come to an end. My grandfather from the Bay area was a WW2 vet , my other grandfather was a POW in WW2 . My father and numerous uncles are Vietnam Nam vets . My mother is a veteran of Desert Storm . I cancelled my nfl ticket and will no longer watch any nfl games .

"A president who was focused on his job could have asked in advance what the plan was for a hurricane strike on Puerto Rico. He would have discovered that since Puerto Rico is part of the United States, FEMA is the default lead agency but it's the US military that has the ships and helicopters that would be needed to get supplies into the interior of a wrecked island. And he could have worked something out. Instead he didn't get worked-up about Puerto Rico until over a week after the storm hit when he saw the Mayor of San Juan lambasting him on television. He lashed out with his usual playbook — one that will only make things worse."

What would you do for your family? I donated what I can in my current position. I worked 20 years out of my 37. Puerto Ricans and my family don't need a f**king hand out. I pay my f**king taxes in this country like the next man..
We don't need sympathy, we need empathy!
No Puerto Ricans don't wana hand out. We want the help needed for a one in a lifetime hurricanne which relief efforts were late.. Obvious blunder.
Or give us our independence and stop using us for strategic positioning around the world. Choose one. Can't have it both ways though. We paid our dues in this country..

Because just like Katrina it's a pattern... And the racist comments the president stated Puerto Ricans want everything handed to them...
Yes it has alot to do with Injustice and killing of unarmed men..
I'm sorry where you fail to see your president only gave a f**k about American citizens when the governor of puerto rico was lashing out..
But we are second class citizens. I understand. The flag means more than actual Americans. (Second class)
"He implied that Puerto Ricans – American citizens all – are too lazy and dependent to help themselves, and "want everything to be done for them" by the federal government."
I worked since I was 16. Never asked anyone for s**t. My tax returns say so.

The 65th Infantry Regiment, nicknamed "The Borinqueneers"[1] from the original Taíno name of the island (Borinquen), is a Puerto Rican regiment of the United States Army. The regiment's motto is Honor et Fidelitas, Latin for Honor and Fidelity. The Army Appropriation Bill created by an act of Congress on 2 March 1898, authorized the creation of the first body of native troops in Puerto Rico. On 30 June 1901, the "Porto Rico Provisional Regiment of Infantry" was organized.[2] On July 1, 1908, Congress incorporated the regiment into the Regular Army as the Puerto Rico Regiment of Infantry, United States Army.[3] On May 14, 1917, the Regiment was activated and additional men were assigned, with the unit being sent to serve at Panama.[3] On June 4, 1920, the Regiment was renamed 65th Infantry.[3] During World War II, the Regiment saw action throughout Europe, especially France and Germany, participating in Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno and Rhin.[4] Several Purple Hearts were handed posthumously to members of the 65th Regiment, and the Medal of Honor was granted to Capt. Eurípides Rubio, Héctor Santiago, Carlos Lozada and Fernando García.[5]"
🤔
Imagine how they feel? Who were they fighting for? Geez Louise! It certainly wasn't for Germany
I get it..

I mean.... first response to a national disaster if coordinated by local leadership, federal government comes after. What did the governor of PR and Mayor of SJ do? He could of handled things better but this is being politicized and why aren't you lambasting PR leadership?

She lambasted 10 days after the Hurricane sir. 10 days after a 90 year Hurricane...Your president only cared on Friday or saterday after her remarks or pleads for help!!! he took on twitter saying everything is fine... No s**t aint fine!!!!
She never attacked him. She said people are dying! Which they are.. Its no exaggeration sir..
The president then made his racist comments...
a smart president would have done this...
"A president who was focused on his job could have asked in advance what the plan was for a hurricane strike on Puerto Rico. Instead of taking her comments as an insult to the sheild? And think this is a dick swinging contest? And saying racist comments..
He would see she was overwhelmed, she was saying the truth.. No fake news..
This is not about red and blue... I care for neither party! This is about American lives..
He is flying there Tuesday.. How many days it going to be Tuesday to do a f**king fly over and end this? Disgrace
