I love my 49ers, but can not and will not support the team as long as Jed keeps running his stupid f**king mouth and players on this team continue to disrespect. I don't care what their stated reason, EVERY damn person in my family from aunts and uncles who I rarely speak to, to immediate family who has or is serving currently, is offended by the protests. Lefties, righties, and everywhere in between on the political spectrum, they all to a person feel like it's a slap in the face.

See that story is more b******t to press the racist narrative. There are pallets and pallets of goods there to give to the people. The problem is getting them to the people. My cousin is a fire chief in AZ. He has guys that work for him that are down there right now and they see TONS (literally) of supplies there right now to get to people, you can see them in the f**king article posted in the link. The problem is actually being able to get it to them. This is a manpower logistics issue not a lack of aid issue and from reports from his Americans that actually care enough to go down there and help rather than b***h from their computer, the Puerto Rican citizens are surprisingly unwilling to help anyone but themselves and immediate family.

It is MUCH different trucking something from Wyoming or Colorado to Texas and into the areas that need the relief, it is quite different when trying to accomplish the same to an island. Also don't forget that there are people on the mainland suffering from natural disasters that have already stretched those resources thin. The gulf coast areas are still all f**ked up, Montana has people being burned out of their homes and a winter that's come early. It's snowing and people have no place to go, literally, but didn't see the reporters all over that news now do you? Bet most reading this didn't even know.

Oh and BTW just for the sake of, Puerto Rico does not want to be a State. I work with Puerto Ricans and they are quick to answer and adamant without wanting to give reason that they have 0 interest in being a state, from every one of them I have posed the question to and prior to the huricane and as far back as 6 years ago. Oooohhh but NOW they want our help and NOW they want to be Americans......

We are not a land on infinite resources. We are not magic miracle workers. The world and the citizens of this country need to realize that there is only so much that can be done. Yes, it makes me think people watch sports for escapism, not for political sermons.

Unlawful police shootings make up less than 1% of black homicides. The "black community" in America is under siege and we should be taking a knee but not to protest cops we should be protesting these warzone murder rates. Conditions cops have to work in. Black cops, White, Latino and otherwise.

ON AVERAGE black males age 14-45 are FAR more likley to commit gun violence compared to all other demographics. This is why they experience more police contact. Police contact can be dangerous, especially when you don't follow orders. Cops have killed people even when they do follow orders but it's by far not the norm.

Your city is a shining example of why police have become militarized in the US. They're mirroring the brutality in the streets of the USA.

Drug sales and gun violence along with armed robbery and pimping plague large cities and police have to jump into the middle of it all each and every day. You want to minimize police contact? Minimize street violence. Especially gun violence.

Bad cops have abused all races and age groups. Police brutality is an issue but it pales in comparison to this warzone murder culture. Police brutality is actually fed by this culture and by violence from all racial groups but life in the suburbs is far different than life in East Oakland or Garfield Park (Chicago). It's undeniable.


Also, the vast majority of police shooting victims are men. Are cops sexist murderers or are men out there committing more serious violent crime compared to women?
