It makes sense. Kyle can't have another s**ty year and Cousins puts us over the hump day 1. Beathard looked good but it was a Wash D missing starting DB's and others playing injured. Reality will set back in, in a week or two.
Cousins and Barkley give us immediate scoring potential. Throw in one of the big 6'3+ WR's and another stud TE and we have firepower.

I disagree with Kyle can't have another s**tty year. If he signs Cousins I expect ~.500. Even with him and Barkley etc. takes a year for stuff to mesh. Anything better is gravy imo.
If we go rookie I expect ~.250.
I say this with conservative and humble expectations knowing Jed is stil the owner.

I don't know about that. It's not like we're getting blown out of the water in our games. If we had a better offense than we currently have, we would be 5-1. Having cousins and Barkley would make the offense 10x better.
