Just curious, what do you guys think a healthy Barkley could do on the 49ers right now? LOL
Do we extrapolate he would singlehandedly rush for 2000 yards if our UFAs are doing as well as they are?
The Rams are so dependent on a healthy Gurley and he balled out last year in the regular season. But imagine a better RB with a better OC?
This could have been a likely scenario had we not gotten JG via trade and picked up Cousins with very likely a top 2 pick in the draft in 2018. I imagine we would have beaten the Giants to that #2 pick they got even though we beat them as they didn't finish 2-14 awful like we did the year prior and probably would have at best that year.
Kyle might not have wanted to waste a huge pick on an RB, but then again he is a generational talent. To have the best TE and RB in the league are great building blocks, and eventually you add a real #1 WR and you're crazy loaded.
