True that lol who the f is ridgeway

Guarantee you didn't know who mostert was before he was a niner.

I dont get why people are so upset at this. He is a rb at 30 years old with injury history. His speed will be missed but rb is a place where you should not get to attached to players. Not everyone is a frank gore.

Yup 30+
JG durability
Was a street FA (can't we find another?)
We have a pretty full RB room want to see Mitchell and yes Sermon get their touches

It's only a one year deal so there's a chance he could come back in 2023 assuming he can stay healthy. Let's see how good he is in Miami.

bring breida or wayne gallman back. then go find a gem late in the draft . bring wilson back to

I'm ok with this, I wasn't a fan of Gallman getting cut before last season.

I'd actually prefer him over Hasty and Sermon.

This, unfortunately, did not age well.

I love the story out of Dolphins Wire: RB Raheem Mostert shares why he's signing with the Dolphins

"According to Mostert's agent, the running back had a number of teams that were interested in him, but he wanted to continue to work with McDaniel in Miami."

Allow me to translate: THE 49ERS DIDN'T WANT ME. THEY TOLD ME TO GET LOST AND POUND SAND.

Ahem. You're welcome.

Let this be a lesson to you. If you make Coach Kyle look foolish, like Raheem did, your days with the 49ers are numbered. The soap opera saga that played out after the first game between Raheem and Kyle didn't make Kyle look very good or very well informed. Does anyone remember? There was a very public announcement by Kyle that Raheem would not be lost to season-ending surgery. A day or two later, Raheem announced he had opted for season-ending surgery.

Bottom line? Raheem signed a one-year "prove it" deal. I doubt he lasts through training camp.

Gallman is lucky to be in the NFL at this point. You guys are crazy. Although I will say this, I was thoroughly unimpressed with Trey Sermon.

There's a back story though. Anyone who thinks throwing a lousy 3m at heem is a s**tty move needs to have their head. Tested for the presence of brain eating amoeba.

I think this is lynches failure for not mending fences. Its his job to smooth thr ruffled feathers of titanic egos so the franchise can move forward. He obviously didn't. This was a big giant flop at 3m.

Hasty Is a fumbling machine and Sermon runs like he's stuck In quicksand.

Oh, I agree. There's always a back story. There's always a drama. Always a soap opera. I agree with you 100-percent.

I also agree that both John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan are better than good at spotting RB talent through the draft or on the waiver wire, signing that talent and developing it.

That's why I'm not so worried about the loss of Raheem and the other free agent losses.

Ya, that scenario never got mended I guess. But, I think it was more with to do with Mostert not wanting to come back. That was the 2nd time Kyle and the medical staff misdiagnosed him. I think he didn't feel like he could trust us anymore and probably didn't want to just get used up and thrown away like Kyle has done to several RBs here.

They're not drafting a guy who can break the oz like heem. Mitchell wilson hasty cant do it, sermons a runs like a cynder block, and there is no 4.3 205 lb burner with vision in round 6. This was an eff up.
Jets and MIA building Niners East.

Unfortunately that's the truth. Lynch/Shanahan can find talent at RB but Mostert is a one of kind. He truly could be the best RB in the NFL when healthy and in the right scheme.

It begins with the contract disagreement two years ago. IMO, that had more to do with his leaving than the injury prob last fall.

You should check out Pierre Strong Jr. out of South Dakota State, a 5'11 207 lbs burner who runs a 4.38 with pads on. Has good vision and elusiveness. Can be had in the late 3rd to 6th rounds.

He averaged 4.6 yards per carry in 2020, he was no slouch
