I'm sad he is gone. His mind blowing career avg is going to take a hit in Miami.

"Greatest" is a stretch for a guy who's career high in a single season is 772 yards 3 years ago.

I'm ok with this, I wasn't a fan of Gallman getting cut before last season.

I'd actually prefer him over Hasty and Sermon.

Way too early to give up on Sermon.

True, but he can expect competition this year and will have to earn his snaps.

No it's not, he sucks
From 2020. A "down" year. No green bay here.

We could have signed him for a million and change and didn't? Really? Just think of a backfield of Mitchell and Mostert! Oh, what could have been! Instead, it's Sermon and whoever else they dredge up from the draft and free agency. What was the thinking?
He probably didn't want to come back to SF but regardless, it's a huge loss. This guy eats up yards when he plays. I've truly never seen a RB with this much game speed.
I blame lynch for not mending a $3m fence. That's what he's paid for.

Or maybe Raheem was dead set on leaving no matter the price?

I agree, he was. That's when Lynch needs to turn into the 20M/year used car salesman, turn on the charm, bring the wife flowers and chocolates, the kids vintage schwinn yellow banana seat bikes, bring over home made lasagna and so on. Ok? pull out all the f*kin tricks. Do I have to spell it out.

So we don't lay any blame on Raheem's inability to stay healthy? Maybe Lynch and Kyle are looking for a more reliable player from a health standpoint to pair up with Mitchell.

No. We're not.

You bend over backwards for the talent. Unless they're head cases. Raheem wasn't. Family guy.

We already bent over backwards for him when we gave him a second extension a year after the first one. He strong armed us into that deal and did himself no favors with the FO.

Then he continued to struggle to stay healthy.

He owns some of the blame if we are being honest.

It's a tough situation because I think the $ he got was more than reasonable. I think he just was pissed off at this front office and when McDaniel went to Miami he got the perfect opportunity to leave and enter a system he knows how to succeed in.

I like the guy but I do think he quit on the team in 2021. Reports suggested he didn't need season ending surgery for this injury to properly heal.

He's the best oz threat in the nfl. You make it sound like we did him a favor to pay him 2.6 in 2019 and give him an extra 500k in 2020. While were paying midget mckinnon 4 mil for trying out different hospital beds and zero impact coleman 5m.

Pennywise pound foolish imo. Point is, he could have helped and we could have tried a little harder.
