We all know as well the staff that Mitchell is legit and both shouldn't be carrying the ball 20 plus since both get hurt. But I really want Sermon to get run, what a horrific pick if again he rarely plays add the fact they traded up for him

50 50 is still too much. They need a third back in there. No one should be carrying the ball more than 15 times a game. So if Wilson can come back he would have that third back roll

Some can do it (Derrick Henry). Some can do 50-50. Id rather keep Mostert around 10 to 15. I'd love Wilson back. Given the history of our RBs, we will need every bit of Mitchell, Mostert, Wilson, and Sermon.

It will be Sermon. He was drafted for Trey Lance. I don't see Wilson returning. He was healthy in the playoffs and he couldn't even get a single carry. I am hoping we go after Patterson. Imagine having Trey with both Deebo and Patterson in the backfield. But if he is too expensive I wouldn't mind bringing Mostert back. He will be cheap and is that homerun hitter. Just can't give him more than 8-10 carries a game.
Resign this man. Mitchell/Mostert/Deebo/Trey oh my word

Yeah, it is deliciously tempting.

I'm hoping Sermon can do what Wilson could….his vision is a bit subject but I'm not gonna give up on him just yet.

Ya I'd like to go with a RB room of:

Mitchell- mostert- sermon- hasty/cannon
Needs to be a short term deal. Long term one's never work out or last for RBs.

I'm cool drafting another late rd guy as well…got a bunch of 7th rd picks.

I mean he's not getting a LT deal from anyone imo. 1 yr deal with some incentives.
If we can get him back on a good deal, then bring him back. Also, bring back Wilson on the cheap. Mostert, Wilson, Mitchell, Sermon and Hasty (maybe one gets sent to PS). Injuries will occur, having them all back (sharing load) will reduce wear n tear and healthy for the playoffs..

If your are simply hoping, a third round pick can do what Jeff Wilson did, then you've already given up on him.
i would say you would be fine doing that. Weak vision, not twitchy, no shake, and injury prone. Told y'all since he was drafted
If the dropoff from Bobby Turner to the next guy who coaches up our RBs is that steep, I'd want to re-sign Mostert if we aren't able to find someone else in the draft or free agency who wouldn't be as up to...speed.
vet mini, with incentives that he pays us back money if he plays a whole season.
