I agree he's the fastest and the most dangerous. I'm not sure he's the best 'by a mile". Mitchell looked like a solid runner with great instincts for finding the hole. Not as fast as Mostert but he's good at keeping the sticks moving. He's actually better in some ways than Mostert. They would make a great one-two punch.
Has a player ever played for free before?

No the execution makes the ideas work in this scheme.

But Mostert does possess a perfect skill set for the scheme and executes at a high level within our scheme when healthy.

Um....yea...were talking about heem's execution....?....i dont get you...

Whether Mostert is the ball carrier or whether it is Wilson or Mitchell... the plays will work if everyone executes their blocks.

Just saying Mostert isn't making a whole lot of something out of nothing here. The Shanahan's and Turner are more important to the run game than any one ball carrier.

Oh I see. I get you now.

No, that's false.

Heem is special. Did you see the highlights? He's got the jukes to make people miss and his acceleration is so casual he tacks on 3-5 yac because defenders can't read when he's pulling away from them.

Wilson can't do that. Mitchell won't either unless he grows wings.. It's not just x's and o's. Heem was the leading rusher against 8 man boxes in 2019 by an avg of 2 yards.

That's monstrous. Read the commentary on him.

So anyway, yes it's about individual performance here.

No way Kyle's RB all get injured. Vet minimum deal with incentives

I agree but mostert has to big of an ego to take a min deal I believe.

Well then he's gone, he'll get a much better deal than that on the open market especially from McDaniel in Miami

That is what i said on the last page. He is worth more to jets/dolphins/packers or a defensive head coach than he is to the niners.
Packers?
id rather pay devonta adams than resign mostert, we fine with what we have, if he asks for too much let him walk
He'll be a Dolphin next year. No doubt in my mind.

Can't pay Deebo and sign Adams. Financially speaking, that isn't going to work.
No way we keep him. He's old and never healthy.

They are 14 million over. Von Miller and OBJ aren't under contract. Sure you could manipulate numbers to get space for guys to sign, but eventually thr bill comes. See "Saints and Salary Cap/About to lose talent"

Packers?

If rodgers and adams leave. They need a HR threat and will have cap space.
Their cuurent RBs are bulldozers to take advantage of pass D.
They run a near identical scheme.

how did davonta adams get into the conversation?

Heem will cost less than 1/3 adams.Much less.
He will be a Dolphin next year. He will be able to continue to excel in their offense and will be able to get paid much better. The moment I saw that McDaniel signed with Miami I knew he was gone. I wouldn't be surprised if Tomlinson follows as well

what? That's makes no sense unless we are in a rebuild. teams in nfcc aren't in rebuild mode.
