Honestly, Rams really pushing to be the new Colts FO of the league? Send your #2 CB and 2nd round pick for a WR who is always hurt.

They arent even going to be able to compete this year. They should of just held onto their pick. That second round pick will probably be in the top 40 of the draft

my thoughts exactly. would of rather had matthews. more solid and reliable. Watkins is more explosive but always dealing with some kind of injuries. Bills FO is jumping up and down right now that they pulled that trade off to the rams

Rams just gave away a top 10 2nd round pick and MUST either franchise Watkins or sign him to a mega deal.

After overpaying Robert Woods and Tavon Austin. I wouldn't count on it.

They better worry about signing Aaron Donald long term before they overpay another WR.

Yup. Which means they've forced themselves to either franchise Watkins or give him the mega deal he wants.

I think it's dumb for the Rams considering they're not anything close to a Super Bowl contender this year. No use for one-year rentals.

I'm not saying it's good business or a wise decision. I'm saying they've backed themselves into a corner with this trade. There is zero chance the Rams just traded away a top 10 2nd round pick for a one-year rental in a non-playoff year. They absolutely will lock him up one way or another.

Both of these guys are meh. But they're on other teams so they get hyped up.

No team gives a s**t they have to play against Sammy Watkins that week.

Yeah. One good player was traded (Darby) and no one is even talking about that.

Yup. Just not in as sexy of a position.

I think a secondary of Robinson, Weatherspoon and Darby could be pretty damn sexy.
Will help reduce 8 man boxes against Gurley

Agreed. Donald will get a raise and if Watkins does well, they'll have to accommodate his raise as well. Most likely Trumaine Johnson will be free to leave in 2018. Rams needed to give Goff another weapon to help him develop.

Not until Goff shows he can actually pass consistently

Darby cost, Mathews & 3rd round pick. Still best deal of the bunch. Rams gave up a 2nd to get Watkins

If you consider that the Bills know they're not contenders... these are a good combination of moves for them. Load up on high draft picks and hope to capitalize in a couple years when Brady retires. All you can really do at this point. At least they're executing a viable plan.
We should go after this guy in FA. He's younger than Michael Thomas and crazy talented.

Bills are killing it. And I'm guessing they are pleased with TreDavious White. Good for them planning for the future.
