I disagree. Darby is a top 15-20 CB and they got Matthews who is a good but not great WR.

And isn't it convenient both, plus Cutler which is practically tanking, are in the same division as the Patriots. Sigh.

I hope the Bills and Jets split their games with one another. But yeah AFC East is a complete joke. Rest Brady for the playoffs.

Bills can get any QB they want next draft.

Matthews = Watkins (edge goes to Watkins of healthy which is rare)
Darby > Gaines (but not by a huge margin)
Throw in a high 2 and 3 and the Bills just killed it imo

Not if the Jets have the #1 pick

Very true. Guess the Bills and Jets are just hoping Brady retires in a couple years when their new QB's are good to go.
We couldnt get in on this? Neither Watkins or Matthews?

Hopefully there was an attempt on our part and the price was too steep.

Sammy Watkins is a "#1 WR" simply because somebody has to be listed as the top WR on the depth chart. That does not make him a "#1 WR" in terms of consistency and productivity. He has never been a #1.

Rams just gave away a top 10 2nd round pick and MUST either franchise Watkins or sign him to a mega deal.

True. I would put Darby much higher than Gaines but it's clear the Bills are trying to cash in on next years draft. Reload so by the time Brady retires the Bills can be the team.

Rams gave up a second round pick for a rental.

Greg Gabriel @greggabe
Have the people overreacting to Bills trading Sammy Watkins watched his tape? He hadn't come close to playing like he was projected to.

Why would the 49ers want either of those players?

They will, at a minimum, franchise him. No way they do this deal without already committing themselves to that end.

After overpaying Robert Woods and Tavon Austin. I wouldn't count on it.

I would have rather got in on Darby. Solidify our secondary. Robinson and Darby could have been the premiere corner if they continued to develop. Well hopefully the Chargers will let go of Verrett after his fifth year.
