So do I. Unless he gets hurt in practice.

this is our bye week.. if we make a move its gota be now so the guy can have a week to prepare.. we have alot of options.. we can sign Eric berry or Reggie Nelson and move ward to cb.. that wouldn't cost us any picks

Hope Spoon heals up fast, we're gonna miss his presence in the Rams game in week 6. He was likely going to be on Cooper Kupp, but hopefully Moseley will be able to do an adequate job in relief of him until he gets back.

Not losing him for the year is the silver lining in his injury. He's going to be back for the run down the stretch where we're hoping to be pushing for a wildcard birth at minimum, but hopefully a division crown.

Great statement! The train doesn't wait on anyone but keeps on moving.

Verrett f**ked up on 2 plays and everyone is ready to give up on him lol

He came in as the backup CB and single handedly gave up a TD. Mosely came in and was fine. That's pretty clear.

JV was a flyer and a gamble. Theres no guarantee he's any good still. Some guys dont come back from multiple injuries.

The TD he gave up wasn't much to do with declining skills. Rudolph baited him that he was throwing to someone else, JV bit, and got bombed. Inexcusable and terrible mistake that nearly cost us the game, but it can be fixed
He didn't look any good in either of his 2 plays. Maybe it would be smart for the team to ease him back getting some reps in nickel and dime first to see if regains form.

Kupp isn't easy to lock down. Scary.

Wouldn't the nickel be on Kupp since he usually plays in the slot ?

Yup, Williams will see a ton of Kupp. He played well Sunday but Kupp is another level type of slot wr.
Jags get
2020 1st round pick
2021 2nd round pick
2021 4th round pick

49ers get
Jalen Ramsey

Spoon comes back we have 3 shutdown corners. Ramsey follows the best receiver on the field. I could see not doing this trade if we were far away from a ring but this team is a legit contender. Adding Ramsey only puts us that much closer to a Super Bowl. Who knows if spoon will even continues playing the way he was playing.
So is losing Witherspoon a bigger loss than if we had lost Sherman, so would it have been about the same?
From a leadership perspective, obviously Sherman does a lot more of that and that would be missed. Weatherspoon is balling tho... we are going to need him back if we are going to make a run at this division. Hope he can be back to 100% soon and stay locked in. Dude has been lights out. Next man up and a big test in the form of OBJ and Jarvis.

Ramsey is a great player and would make our defense elite but would make signing Buckner and Kittle difficult, if not impossible. We need to keep our D-line and the best TE in the league. Ramsey would be a great addition, but our core is more important.
