lol probable cause—reeks of weed

Nah, it's Alabama. Probable cause was probably the color of his skin.

Dat too

A lot of black people live in Alabama. Are you suggesting that every black person that gets pulled over is getting arrested for probable cause of possession of marijuana? Let's be honest the fools did something to give themselves away.

Black people are often targeted to be stopped because of their skin color. White people are not. White people are also more likely to be let go with a warning.
Apparently you've never driven through Oklahoma. Their troopers pull you over just to get their head in your car. It's happened to me multiple times and always for a bogus reason, without ever receiving a citation and only because I had out of state plates. They aren't racist in OK, they want to bust everyone.
But yeah, to prove your point, I have only received warnings and pulled over because of the color of my license plate not because my skin is white
It sucks that it happens due to skin color.
There is nothing that is less of a factor of a persons worth or being than the color of their skin.

When you get the chance to leave Alabama for California, leave for good. Take your family with you, if you have to. Smoke in Cali where it's legal, and leave the Roy Moore's where they are.

I'm 38 now! I partied every night from age 19/20 till about 25 when I finally settled down and got married. I smoked a pack of cigs every night, smoked weed, drank like fish and took pills. I stopped the drugs and heavy drinking when I got married. I stop smoking before my first child was born. I'm speaking from experience. The amount of phlem, the coughing, the black stuff that came out of my lungs for 6 months after I quit smoking was mind blowing. I'm telling you right now Foster isn't from the lets play video games and smoke a little weed camp. He's in the party stage and everyone knows it. He's out all night, drinking, clubbing, smoking, etc.. Granted I don't know this for sure. but I was 25 once. I know what that means. He needs to decide and make some serious life changes. I know how this stuff affects your health. I've lived it. The difference is staggering. If he wants a long career in the league he needs to change the group he hangs with. Once he starts making healthy choices, his body will recover faster, he'll feel 10 years younger. He'll play at an elite level every game etc... I'm praying for this young man.

What part of Alabama do you live in?

I live in California and I read.

Despite roughly equal usage rates, Blacks are 3.73 times more likely than whites to be arrested for marijuana.
This is only the beginning. It shows this guy does not have common sense.

Michael Phelps is one of the greatest athletes of all time.

Pills, cigarettes and booze are different than cannabis.

What did Aldon Smith get? Wasn't that his first offense? I could care less if its weed or not. The problem is he's not taking care of his body. Smoking of any kind as an elite is just plain dumb. You can't perform at a high level. Your lungs can't take it. If he's smoking weed he's probably out drinking as well. Which means on game day he's already gassed and hung over and probably can't breath. He's probably sweating it out on the field. I really hope Kyle and Lynch setup a no tolerance policy for this kind of stuff on the team. He needs to be doing treatment, eating healthy, resting between games, etc.. There is no place for this kind of stuff anymore in professional sports. An offense like this, depending on who you are, could be the end of your career. I hope Foster reads this. How are we supposed to have an elite top 5 D when our starting Middle Linebacker is hungover and can't get a breath of air. They need to start putting in the contract language salary penalties for this stuff. Start deducting millions of dollars and this kind of crap will stop imo. Maybe not who knows.

Lmao this isn't true at all. Most athletes in all sports smoke weed. Eating at KFC or McDonalds is more harmful than marijuana

He came out publicly and got ahead of it. I totally agree there are athletes that do this. Even all time greats! The point is they put in the time first to be great, if they were smoking weed they did it in private at home in a safe place not out on the town. They also don't do it every day/night or the day before a game. Phelps didn't win all those medals smoking and partying the night before a swim.

I would love to hear an unrehearsed response from Phelps on the subject. it would be interesting to know if he was actually smoking weed while at the olympics.
All for that s**tty Alabammer.
Just plain STUPID!

When Foster was drafted, I was excited about his potential, but I could not get over by how profoundly stupid he came off. First of all, the guy sounds about 9-years-old by the way he talks. Second of all, there were a handful of highly-questionable decisions he made in the year leading up to the draft. Like, for example, getting sponsored by a vaping company before the draft. Really!?

This dude is a beast on the field, but every time I hear him talk it just reinforces my assessment from the draft. This guy is an absolute moron.

I guess this helps with the pesky issue of personal responsibility. "Well, yeah I broke the law ... but that guy did it too."
