So true. Opioid addiction is a major problem in this country that is taking lives and players can us them all day long, during games even. How many people end up in emergency rooms and die from taking pain killers. Now lets compare those numbers to weed. Doesn't make what he did ok, but the rules need to change.

The rules are the rules; every player understands them.

I hope we bring in Roquan because Foster can't see the forest through the trees (pun partially intended).

True. Good points.

It's too bad. Foster looks like a superstar but so did Aldon. Some of these guys are just idiots.

It's a fair point to point out the concern for immaturity issues that led him to lose millions. That said, every person is different, and rarely do players spiral downward as spectacularly as Aldon did. Maybe you're a bit shell-shocked so are quick to jump to comparisons.

As for insinuating that he's done other things because Robinson had, you're completely off your rocker. That's just biased reasoning. There have been no such whispers, and insinuating as much without any basis of facts is below your standard of posting, imo.

Not really. Any MH professional will tell you of an addictive personality in identification of addiction and the inability to shake it.

Only a handful of people in here would throw millions of dollars away for a little "devils leaf" and remember, he had an agent and plenty of supporting people trying to keep his life decisions sound during a critical time in his life --- and he still f**ked up. Twice.

And now, during his first off season? Same thing.

I'm not going down the Aldon path but merely cautioning.

Sometimes these incidents turn out to be blessings in disguise. Other times, they were mere precursors to reality.

Thankfully this is an extremely deep LB class

Nah, it's Alabama. Probable cause was probably the color of his skin.

Dat too
I knew it wouldn't be long before Aldon's named popped up in this thread.

All the major US sports leagues need to take weed off of it's banned substance rules. It's legal in many states, and with in the next 10 years will most likely be legal in all states. It's not performance enhancing, so what is the issue? It's not bad for you like the other "illegal" drugs. Personally I'd much rather have a pot head on my team than an alcoholic.

It'll change in the future, no doubt... probably at the next CBA. But for now...

Dat's the attitude that deflects responsibility, and a positive resolution.

Completely beside the point. Currently, this is a banned substance and everyone is well aware of that fact. Foster made another dumb decision to continue a string of dumb decisions.

As MadDog mentioned in the Draft Thread, this dude has an 8-year-old kid and is still making stupid irresponsible decisions. If he doesn't adjust his perspective after becoming a father, I doubt he'll change it for football.
Wonder what his punishment will be? If he didn't take a UA, then technically he didn't fail a test. Sure he had it on him, but that doesn't prove he smoked. LOL
He has an 8 year old kid? Damn, he was knocking ladies up at an extremely young age.
