Gonna be a moment of silent when Smith hits the field. Is he gonna make it through the first snap without getting intjurt

I just assumed he was out for another season.
Regardless, I am excited to see him suit up. But how is this going to work with Warner and Foster too?
he will be on the bench cheerleading for his teammates, since Foster and Warner took his job.

Should only start if it's at Sam and if he's better than MZ there. We need all the speed we've got against KC.

This seems the best way to go. One hopes it's the plan Saleh had when they traded Eli Harold. But by stating who would be starting with Foster, Shanahan seemed to suggest that Warner or Smith would be sitting Sunday.

Malcolm Smith (6-1, 225 lbs) vs Travis Kelce(6-5, 260 lbs).
Yikes, I don't want to see that, especially on run plays. Kelce is a fantastic blocker.

Didn't Smith get run out of Oakland because he was playing out of position? Having Smith with Foster and Warner would give us great speed, but I'm thinking we'd be vulnerable in the run game. For this week, it's probably the right call to go with Smith, Warner, and Foster starting.

It was a joke about AA being handled by a TE last week.
