Why does his benching necessitate him having to be cut?

It is not like they would cut the guy to give him a shot at starting somewhere, he wouldn't start anywhere else in the NFL.

LOL. The idea is preposterous. He would hold the clipboard for Beathard.

I personally think he will have a solid game enough to put the CJ questions to bed until perhaps mid season.

Remember yall our bye isnt till like week 11 and we play the cawks week 12(atleast at home)...

I think the earliest we might CJ is vs the Jags week 16.

On a short week against that defense? Nope. CJ talk gonna continue for sure.

Neither is our offense, somehow.

4 sack, 2 int, 1 fum recovery, 2 td's against Indy. I would expect the defense that played against Indy more than i would expect the defense that played against the Redskins. They can go 2-1 with a W and be in the thick of it for the division title. They are gonna show up. Will we?

But youre saying due to their performance vs Indy is why theyll due good vs us from the sounds of it.

Well find out tomorrow. I think their D isnt close to Panthers/SEA.

From 3 points.. To 9... Guess well get 15 tomorrow? i think well guaranteed put up atleast 17.

Maybe we get 17 in garbage time after they put in CJ? Otherwise i don't see it unless hide runs up their butt hole all night. I dont see hoyer passing for any TD's. If Trumaine Johnson plays he will probably get a pick 6.

Heres a good question for you. What does it mean if we win, and Hoyer has a good game? Say 200+ yards and 2+ TDs?

For Hoyer then the team?

Personally, while I hate seeing our team lose and would have loved to see our team beat the cawks, I'm not overly worried. This is all a rebuild and, strangely, when you have bad QB play, it doesn't hold the development of your rebuild back too much IMO. You can see the scheming is there, the players see it, they know it, and they know their QB just isn't getting it. So, they see that their hard work is paying off and will still believe in the system. They know Hoyer isn't the answer. It's different when it's 2 or 3 O-lineman or your defensive line. When those guys suck you can't tell if the other guys are good but you can't see it because they can't hold up the house. If you see your blocking is holding up but receivers aren't getting open - then you know it's not the O-line, you need receivers and your QB is a question mark. If your O-line holds up, your receivers get open and your QB can't make the throw - simple solution(though simple doesn't mean easy). Same with the defense.

I'm all in for a Kirk/Beathard face off next season! haha.....cue Cousins argument........now!

Yeah we all knew what this yr was gonna be and if anyone thought we were magically gonna be good, you were only kidding yourself.

I'm not touching the Kirk cousins debate until the end of the yr...it will only turn into a teenage girl b***hfest in here lol.
